A POST about EVERYTHING!!!

About watching a movie (“Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest”, I think) on Bry’s iPod with uncle KJ on Sunday morning before the church (Stake Conference) – and LOVING IT!!! :)

About poo on my sweater that I discovered after Sunday dinner –
thanks to Tessie! :)
(On Friday I decided that it’s about time to hand wash some clothes and so I did. I put it nicely on the towel to dry out and forgot to pick it up, up until Sunday, when I discovered THIS)

About nice Sunday walk that we all had with Bry’s family…

Seeing and feeding baby turtles in the pond…

6 month check up with doctor Laughlin on Monday morning…
(I simply REFUSE to believe that my little boy is 6 months old as of Sunday!!!)
He’s a HUGE boy! He’s off the chart for the length (28 ¾ inches) and in 75 percentile for his weight (18lbs 7oz).
I have to report that he got shots again and is developing amazingly!
We’re soooo blessed!!! :)

So he just started eating vegetables today. We gave him peas as a starter and later – next week – we’re planning on giving him carrots and then a week later (or 4-5 days) some fruits.
The reason why we’re waiting and not giving him everything at the same time is that that way we can see if he has any allergies to the foods we’re giving him and on top of it we’ll introduce him to veggies first, since they’re not sweet like fruits, so he has bigger chance to like them…

So the post is also about eating PEAS for the FIRST time! :)

And also, since it’s about everything, I managed to go tanning for a little bit, because our swimming pool is open for the season! :)

And a very neat FHE that Bry prepared all by himself!

It was a great couple of days! :)

And about (that’s the latest) Ollie’s 101 degree fever that he just developed. I feel so BAD for him. I bet it’s after the shots, but if it goes higher (103), I’ll call the doctor, especially that Ollie’s never had a fever after the shots before or a FEVER period…
But he fell asleep now, so Bry and I can go back to sleep...
Hopefully he'll feel better fast!

  4. My kids were sweet potato fans! Kai ate about anything and still continues to. He's getting so big and so fun! Don't deny he's getting bigger because then you'll be shocked when he turns 1 and so on. Just enjoy!

  9. I remember doing everything by the book with Kimball. A big favorite with all my girls was butternut squash.
