GENERAL CONFERENCE

We had a really good weekend in here... We started it by cleaning the chapel Saturday morning -- Olivier was a really good helper and after we were done we went to HEB to do some fun grocery shopping, where Ollie got to ride this cool cart... :)

When we got home, we made little snack (baguette, camembert cheese, pickles -- as shown on the picture below and some fruit -- not shown)...

... and watched General Conference during which Olivier was taking his nap...
When he woke up, in between sessions, he went with Bry and cut the grass in the backyard and when they came back, that's what they brought me... :)

In the evening, when Bry went to Priesthood Session with Kevin and Dad and Ollie went to bed for the night, I took care of my sewing projects (I had shorten some pants and a dress) and that was pretty much it...

I was thinking about continuing Bloomington tradition and going out and having girls night out during PS, but Mom and Lori were out of extra points in their diet by eating out all week and I didn't tell my friends here about it, so I was stuck with myself -- not that it was bad, but definitely I'll think about telling my friends earlier next time, so I can continue the traditidion... :)

Today, as soon as I woke up, I started my NEW thing... CROCHETING!!!
I LOVE it! I went on youtube and learned the basics and all day today, during the General Conference and in between I was making a blanket for Olivier -- my first project... :)

Hope everybody's weekend was GREAT!!! :)

  1. Those carts are so hard to drive! It's like you need a special license for it or something. My guy wasn't feeling that great so I had him for priesthood session but ladies night is way fun! Definitely start that tradition now!

Don't you love youtube? I have learned so much on it! Good luck on your blanket! You need to post how to make those flower crowns you and Ollie had a few weeks ago, cute!!

  5. I also didn't have any friends to go to dinner with during the PS, so I knit! I am so proud of you for crocheting! Way to be crafty!
