It's only Wednesday and I already feel ready for the weekend!
Due to the fact that I didn't work - out much last week or the previous week, Juliana and I are trying to make up for it by working - out this week SUPER intensively...
So I have 5 work - outs behind me (eliptical, treadmil, swimming, strength training, running, weights).
On top of it I have to add walking Ollie, cleaning the whole apartment twice this week (explanation later in the post), laundry...
MAN! I'm exhausted! :)

But that's not what I wanted to write about at the first place!
I was planning to write about yesterday's wonderful walk by the pond with Traci, Tess and Olivier...

Where we say a HUGE frog and turtles (you can see one on this picture by the log), which Ollie fed for the first time...

And about Tessie trying to catch little frogs...

And Ollie falling asleep on our way back to Traci's apartment...

And flowers that we saw just outside her place...

And Ollie's NEW BIG accomplishment! HE CAN HOLD HIS OWN BOTTLE WHILE EATING!!!

Or his "ouchie" that he has on his cheek... (He scratched himself really bad the other night, so I had to put a band - aid on it and since i didn't have any other kind it was the one with Disney Princesses) :)
But insted I'm going to write about my Visiting Teaching experience!
So I've always wanted my VT companions to come to my place, so I could teach the lesson and make something to eat and have a fun time...
So today we finally managed to meet in my place, since Tava can take naps in the afternoon now... :) But as other kids (Josh and Halle) were behavioring very well (including my Ollie),
Tava was tearing the place apart... :(

She was running all over the place, playing with Ollie's toys and being totally silly and crazy (she's a 2 year old todller). But the VT was almost over and I thought I could handle it when I heard glass crashing in the kitchen.
What I found out later was that Tava turned on my burners on which I had left Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread. The glass exploded.

The burning glass melted our kitchen floor.

Do I need to say anything else? Oh, maybe one more thing. I was cleaning everything for three hours. Love days like this!
But I managed to take Ollie out for a walk and did some shopping done (salt, sunblock for Ollie etc.) So I guess it was a good day after all... :)

  1. Oh my! I hope nobody was hurt. That's pretty dangerous if she turns on stoves! The walks look great and refreshing.

  2. Oh my gosh! That's the end of VT at your place, huh?! That was nice of you to have all that stuff though. Looks like a great time at the park!

  3. How scary! Hopefully she just turned the burner on and walked away and wasn't around when it blew! That picture of Olivier sleeping is so cute. And how cool that he can hold his own bottle! I remember when Bridget started doing that - changed our lives!

  5. Eeek! Glad that it's behind you - hope no one was hurt! I love the sleepy Ollie picture - that is so cute! It's hard to be motivated to get things really clean when you know you'll be cleaning later ;)
