My boy is finally asleep and taking his nap...
I'm seriously considering calling his doctor to find out what's going on, since lately (for the past 3 days) he's acting differently and by that I mean CRYING a lot more, for no particular reason...
Is it an ear infection? Or something else? Or nothing at all?
He doesn't have a fever and is sleeping through the night, is happy when we play with him and give him full attention but as soon as we lay him down he starts to SCREAM, so maybe I'm just overprotective parent?

Besides me being super busy, nothing new...
I made breadsticks, after reading Natasha's blog, where I read about her making cinnamon sugar breadsticks, which I've never tried. And I got in trouble for that... :)
Why?
Because as soon as I read it on Natasha's blog, I ran to Bry and told him about it, being SUPER excited about the whole idea!!!
And then Bry reminded me, which I couldn't remember at all, that he has suggested it a couple of months ago and I said: "Neh, it won't work."
But as you can see, no pictures of the breadsticks here, because we ate them as soon as we took them out of the oven, burning our precious fingers... :)

Also I got a really fun e-mail from a friend and I've decided to give it a try on my blog...

  1. just make sure you put LOTS of cinnamon and sugar on the breadsticks. . . .

I also made Cream Cheese Frosting to dip them in. . .SOOO Yummy!

don't worry about the crying at naptime. Gavin is the same way. He is happy all the time unless it is nap time.

You are a great mom Ola!

  2. Thank you Natasha... You're so sweet!

I would love to make a dip for the breadsticks, so if you can just put the recipe on your blog it would be awesome! Thanks!

  4. I think it's pretty normal for babies to cry when they want to be held! Tess does it when I put her down, and so do all of my friends' babies and my nieces and nephews!

  6. I'm surprised that your mother-in-law hasn't written to tell you that your husband used to SCREAM for hours when he was about Ollie's age. I went to spend the summer with T & B in California when Bryan was only 2 months old and when he was supposed to go to bed at night, it was awful! I can remember the afternoons when I would watch soap operas with Bryan asleep on my chest because he was so tired from lack of sleep the night before! Oh the days!

  8. Tammy, I know that Bry was a bad kid - totally - and he still is :), but luckily it doesn't seem that Ollie has much of the bad genes after all.... :)
