I can’t believe it’s already November… Halloween’s over and right now it’s time to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas! :)

Bry put all the Halloween decorations away, making sure that our closet looks better than ever (these little things make me feel so THANKFUL that I have him in my life) and I thought that he’ll put all the Christmas decorations out, since last year we were not able to do that all (my parent’s apartment was already decorated, when we arrived) but as I asked him why he didn’t put it all out yet, he told me that he’s waiting for his little boy to be born, so they can do it together….
It almost made me ink, because it was SO sweet! I love Bry so much!!!

But, as you can imagine, he didn’t stop spoiling me… :)
He put the base (for Olivier’s car seat) in the car and his little car seat is all ready in our bedroom…
The white cart with Olivier’s toys, books, blankets, changing and bath stuff is ready as well…
Also in each room we have the basket with some changing stuff, so we don’t have to go to the bedroom each time Olivier has to be changed!

There’s only one thing missing…

OLIVIER….

But I'm so THANKFUL that:

I have them both and that Bry and I can be parents for the first time.
Olivier will be born within couple of days.
That I have such an amazing pregnancy.

  1. I'm expecting you to be having contractions and writing about it so we can all know! Don't put out too many newborn size diapers, they grow fast!

  2. Ola, you and Bry are going to be the CUTEST parents! I can't wait for Oliver to get here so you can start your little family together.

Bry's comment about putting Christmas decorations out with his son was sooooo cute!

  3. I'm picturing little 3 day old Olivier laying in his little car seat and Bryan talking to him while he puts out decorations! I suspect it will be a slow process with lots of cuddling going on.

  6. Yes, my bag is all packed and ready in our closet by the door. All I have to put in on my way to hospital is my cosmetic bag, so I can have at least ONE good picture after the labor... :) You all know me... I can't SURVIVE without make-up on... :)

Diapers... That's all we have in newborn sizes. Maybe one or two more rows and then we have another size up... But Sarah, come on, my baby will stay tiny FOREVER!!! :)

Mom, I can picture it, too... And in the background you can hear Bing Crosby singing Christmas carrols! :)

And Natasha, we still have your Christmas cd and it's already in the cd player and we're listening to it... Thanks!

  7. Nadia started out in premies. Then she wore new born diapers for at least a month. Now she's still in size one. It just all depends on how fast your baby grows.

  8. What a wonderful time of year to be anticipating a baby! You should be feeling mostly recovered from the delivery by Christmas! I only had to buy newborn diapers for Taylor - the hospital always sent a small bag home with me for the other girls and they were so big that we just went to size 1 when we ran out. I didn't even know newborn size existed until I had to look for it :)

  9. I had to buy several packages of newborn diapers, and Celeste was 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Don't worry about having too many - if you don't open them, you can exchange them.
