As you can all tell, I missed a couple of days on my blog and you can probably tell why it was so… YES… I spent them at the Bloomington Hospital! :)


Believe it or not, but on Sunday morning (my due date) – at 2.45am – my water broke and Bry and I went to the hospital, where after 23 hours of labor,

I gave birth to Olivier Preston Hemming…

He was 8lbs 11oz and 22inches long…

And what a cutie! :)

He would be born on the due date, but I guess I was too lazy to push… :) Plus I had this fear (which was totally reasonable after all) that this pushing will end up pretty bad for my body and that I’ll be injured… Injured bad… And by the way I am – my tail bone hurts like crazy!!! Nothing else, but my tail bone… Weird! :)

It was 1.35am and even though I was exhausted, I was happier than ever!

And now, as I came home from the hospital,

I can tell that I have the cutest little baby boy on planet… :)

Things I’m THANKFUL for:
An amazing labor experience (it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but probably Bry and I will wait with another one).
My doctor that didn’t give up on me and let me have as good time as possible before, during and after the labor! Plus I didn’t have a c-section with such a healthy baby (size)! And that was a challenge! :)
Bry, of course, as he was there for ME every minute…
Family – their constant support… There are no adequate words to describe, how much I love them and appreciate them!
Things like this are PRICELESS!!!
