What a wonderful day I had today... :)
First I got a chance to sleep in till like 12 -- I'm not at PPD anymore and I'm free to do anything I want -- so that was very refreshing to enjoy my own bed... :)

Then I got ready and I headed to the mall for some shopping -- that can never be a bad thing and I had a blast... I got a couple of things at Express, though I personally think they had way better collection last year and two years ago, and Body Central, which was really interesting since I never shop in there, but I just couldn't miss out on those $14.50 linen pants that were long enough for me AND I was looking for for like forever... :) Amazing steal... :)

On the way back home I stopped at the tanning salon and enjoyed getting some "sun" -- I got sooo pale lately it's scary... lol

When I got home I got ready and then headed out with Donny to our friends house for dinner... N&J were so much fun and I'm so grateful I'm getting to know more and more fun people here in Austin... I need friends around!!!! Dinner was also delicious and I just can't wait to try that recipe at home...

Now I'm returning emails, facebook messages, blogging and in a second I'll learn how to tie a scarf into a shirt (not a tube top)... I HEART youtube... :)

So I'm at PPD again... This time it's just me and no more Donny at the study with me... :(
But I met an awesome girl and she's my roommate and it's so funny how we clicked from day 1...
We always find something fun to do... Like we started watching Sons Of Anarchy -- it's a new tv show and we got so hooked (thankx Baby)... We stay in bed all day with the lights off and just watch it... The only breaks we take are for food or potty... Lol
Yesterday Courtney and I decided to do our hair... So we blow dryed it and styled it with the flat iron... It was awesome.... :)

I also downloaded an App on my iPhone to make beautiful collages but since today was a super busy and full day in here, so I'll post those pics of Donny, Avi and I later this week... :)

So eventhough I have about 14 days left in here, I'm trying to stay as busy as possible doing little fun projects like that and also planning my trip to San Padre for a springbreak... :) I'm sooo excited.... :)

So to update my life a little bit in a New Year I should probably say that PPD days are over for me for a little bit and I'm glad that I can enjoy an outside world... Even though it was fun to relax and catch up on sleep, I was missing Avi way to much and so I was super excited to spend Christmas with him...
He's such an incredible little boy and teaches me so much every day... First thing that comes to my mind is PATIENCE, since I'm so not good at it... To back this statmenet up with an example I'll tell you this story -- I guess it's the most recent -- Avi just finished working on number 2 while we stayed at friends' house for New Years and I was in the kitchen checking my emails on my phone when I heard Avi calling me... At a time I thought he was just trying to play and so I told him to wait a little bit till I'm finished... He waited and then sure enough called me again with a nice and sweet voice... After maybe 4 or 5 minutes I went to check on him and he was standing by the toilet ready to be wiped... Other than it made me feel like a bad Mom and person, I thought about how patient my little boy is, not getting upset or rude and that he's a great example for me how I can work on myself and not get frustrated with others...

Going back to my update though... Olivier and I spent Christmas with Donny and his family and we had tons of fun... Not only we got lucky on not cooking -- read I did -- but also got a lot of presents that we love... I got Couch purse that I wear lately all the time and I'm glad it's black with three different departments -- I can keep it rganized at ALL times -- and it's just perfect size too -- not too big and not too small -- very classy... :)
I also got a DVD player in my car that I loooooooveeeee....
All cds are playing great and I can just touch the screen to change radio stations and the best part is I have bluetooth on it so I can talk on the phone while I'm driving....
New gym shoes came in handy also since I'm going to the gym for 7 days now -- excluding Sunday -- and I'm on FIRE!!! :)
But I also got something from Poland that I'm so in love with... A beautiful folklor - istic scarf that I just can't stop wearing...
I got a bunch of other stuff as well but I'm just not gonna brag about it I guess... lol
All in all Christmas was great... And next year it'll be white because Donny, Olivier and I might be in Poland... :)

I welcomed New Year with Donny and Olivier at my friend's house where we watched tv and relaxed... Ha ha ha... It's kind of funny that I didn't go anywhere... Especially that I'm such a party animal and always want to go somewhere... :)

Also I welcomed 2011 with
*a new, spacious 2 bedroom apartment -- I'll post pics as soon as I organize everything -- that has an amazing location plus is not very expensive...
I still have to get a bunch of stuff for it but it feels like home already... :)
* shopping trip to the Domain -- clothes, and IKEA -- home stuff
* completely switching to MAC cosmetics... :)

So this is it as for an update...
From the up to date stuff I'm back at Saltgrass and I must say I really enjoy my work and am glad there's no more Express... :)

Also today I went to the funeral of my friends Grandma and that made me think of my Dziadzius... He was a great man and I've been so blessed to have somebody like him in my life...

And it made me think about all the blessings in my life that I have right now... :) Life's good... Nothing what I expected but nevertheless good...

Tomorrow is my day 14 of being in PPD and it's going to be a little hectic and crazy because I'll be having ECGs every hour with the cute little icardiac monitors... Ha ha ha... It'll be fun... :)

Other than that this is the first year that I bought some XMas presents online and now I'm waiting for a lot of stuff to arrive... I'm kind of nervous if everything will end up being PERFECT and what I expected it to be but I'll definately find out sooner than later... :)

I still have a couple of things to buy at the mall but nothing major... Avi is going to have an amazing XMas and I just can't wait to see his little face light up when he sees them all under the XMas Tree... He's 4 and he definately is already aware of Santa and all his "business"... :)

I'm also excited for all of my presents coming to me from all different directions of the world and most importingly just knowing that I'm being thought of and loved makes it so much easier because to be completely honest there are things I'll miss tremendously....

I should not even have to mention MY FAMILY and SNOW or all my Moms AMAZING cooking or my DADs' XMas Day BREAKFAST or trying to see if the first star has already lighten up the sky or LOOKING at the decorations that other houses have across the street from us if they are WATCHING for the FIRST STAR or still getting ready -- but I'll keep my mind open and see what happens, because I'll remember whose birth are we celebrating on CHRISTMAS EVE...

I guess life's NEVER what we expect it to be but as long as we anticipate the unexpected and unpredictible, we are well prepared and as long as we keep trying to make the best of what we have and think of others we can make it work and find HAPPINESS... :)

So as I lay my head to sleep tonight I'll keep all my loved ones in my prayer and try to feel more CHRISTMAS SPIRIT... :)

Day 10 at PPD is almost over and I'm actually glad cuz first of all that means I'll be able to enjoy the outside in just 6 days and second of all I'll be able to shop -- yeah some things will NEVER change -- and third of all but basically MOST important I'll see the cutest boy on earth to me... My little angel Avi... :) I can almost feel his lil head resting on my shoulder or saying something silly or brushing my hair or just coming close to me and just giving me a hug for no reason...
He's such a HUGE blessing in my life and I can't imagine my life without him...
He changed me to the core and made me see a lot of things through his or just totally different perspective... Incredible thing... PARENTING....

Which leads me to another thought and BLESSING in my life... But starting at the beginning... When you think that you possibly can not endure any more pain in your unhappiness and think that all the door were shut just in front of your face one by one and think that there's no light at the end of the tunnel and you kind of try to settle for it (even though deep down inside you're praying to wake up or at least trying so hard not to believe in what's around you), GOD opens the WINDOW for you and lets the light appear to you...

And that's what happened to me... ONCE MORE in my life...
The day I decided to leave church, pack up my things and RUN -- that was something I was always good at, anytime there was something screwed up in my life beyond repair or when repair was just too difficult and I wasn't ready to swallow my pride (I think that one of those days I'll choke on it) -- I got asked to go to the RODEO by a friend that ended up telling me how he loves his family and spends Sundays with them and how important Sunday is to him, big meals that his family is eating every Sunday and how when he was on his mission in Argentina....
Ha ha ha....
HE was a MORMON...
Funny how mysterious are GODS' ways...
I opened up completely that night talking about what a lost cause I was and what kind of rollercoaster I was and about my marriage failing and most of all ME failing life and me failing being a mother right with it...

I guess the rest is the history because I'm with that boy up untill this day (and I guess when I'm bad I can always say I TOLD YOU SO) and have hope for a normal life and family and stability and LOVE...

And that brings me to another thought... I'm so thankful and grateful and full of love that I want to give some of that back to the world to people who are lost like I was or those who might think there's no light at the end of the tunnel, those who are helpless, lonely or in need...
And so this year during the XMAS SEASON I want to volunteer and give thanks to all I have by helping somebody else...

I actually did it in Humble last year along with my Mom where we were little elves finding presents for little kids... NOTHING filled me with more joy and gratitude that that experience and so this year I have so many things to be thankful for... :)

Man I honestly can't believe it's been a year since my last post....

And I've been thinking about blogging but since life got hard and there wasn't that many positive things happening around me -- or due to me being so disappointed, sad and depressed so I could not see the positives -- I missed a YEAR of my life and AVI'S and it's sad, so TODAY I decided to stop crying about what happened and GET UP, take control of my own life, start counting my blessings and make the BEST of every day that has been given to me....

I don't know yet how I'll try to update that past year and put some pics of my journey called LIFE

but I'll do my

BEST... :)

So I guess I'll start with today....

It's my day 9 of being at PPD where I do medical study to help

people with artheritis and am waiting for my big paycheck that will come on

day 19.... :) Just honestly can't wait... :)

Definately with that money I'll finally will be able to get my own apartment

and have some stability that is sooooo much needed in my life these days....

It's funny how I am always longing for opposites....

When I have stability and peace, I miss crazy speed of life...

And when life is like a neverending storm, I'm begging to finally see the stable ground under my feet....

And I guess the key is to find my HAPPY balance -- LOTS TO LEARN -- on my end... :)

But I'm reading that great book by Elizabeth Gilbert called "Eat, Pray, Love" -- also had a chance to see a movie with Julia Roberts --

and I must say it helps me heal after the divorce...

(Gosh I can't believe I just said that in here and that I'm NOT trying to hide it)

Just reading about somebody trying to find their own happiness and balance, after the divorce, makes me feel not as isolated and bad...

So I guess I'll go and read some more....

The main character is still in Italy and it brings a lot of memories from when I've been there with my sister when we were just kids...

Good old times.... :)))

So... Life's been a little crazy in here for me, but it's all good cuz a lot of stuff has happened and I LOVE being busy and doing stuff all the time and so I'm more than happy to be in constant movement tho definately I'm enjoying my days off and am more appreciative to my rare relaxation moments... :)

This weeknd was mostly spend on listening to Conference, taking naps, eating and just enjoying each other tho I cant's say I was not busy... :)

Just on the contrary when Bryan was gone for the Priesthood session yesterday evening, I managed to finish the laundry, did hand wash laundry as well, did my pedicure and manicure -- this time I went for a rock'n'roll black -- did some facials and just pumpered myself, not mentioning reading 4 books to Ollie and putting him to bed... :)

Last weekend my girlfriends and I went to the RS portion of the Conference and just before we listened to the wonderful talks (my favorite was by Barbara Thompson) we made 250 heart shaped pillows for the breast cancer patients and that made me feel sooo good inside, cuz first of all we helped other women out there and second of all they were just sooo cute! :)

Afterwards we all decided to go and have some icecream... Such a great night... :)

Also on Saturday morning Bry and I took Avi to the ZOO and he loved every moment of the trip... He was even behaving most of the time... lol

At the beginning of the week I had a chance to go to Tomball to the managers conference for Express and I've learned a lot about giving a wonderful customer service in our store... It was very positive and left me with the feeling of being empowered and being able to make changes for the better... :)

The end of the week got a little hectic due to the floorset and working many hours but it's all good cuz I had an amazing weeknds afterwards... :)

I also finished reading my The Boleyn Inheritance book that I really enjoyed and also am about to finish another one -- There Is No Death -- today or the latest tomorrow... :)

Avi on the other hand learned new words this week and I'm so impressed with him! He can say Dziadzius (which means Grandpa in Polish), Spongebob, bubble and starts speaking full sentences... Soooo happy for that.... :)

I was starting to wonder and trully worrying about his speech...

And tomorrow I think I'll have an easy day at work since I'm opening and have the whole afternoon/evening off and then on Tuesday I only have a meeting in the morning and then I'm going to have my hair done... Soooo excited!!!

And now I'd better go to bed and get some sleep... :)

Mmmm... It's been awhile since I last posted something on my blog but I thought about it more and more and miss my little blogging procedures, so here I am... :)

And since I have a new computer it should be easier and faster way to keep my little journal... :)

I'm back from Europe and miss it deerly every day, but know that the day will come when I'll be able to go there again...

But for now I just purchased the tickets for my Mom and she's coming on the 18th of October and stays up until the 1st of February... That makes me soooo happy cuz it'll be the first Christmas that I'll be able to spend with my family in the US...
My Dad flies in on the 16th of December and leaves the 4th of January... So I'll have all polish delicious meals right here... Mmmm... Just the thought of it makes me smile... :)

I'm still working at Express and it goes well... It'll be my second Holiday season in there with a little twist cuz I'll be managing this year and I think I'm pretty excited about that as well... :)

Ollie's growing way too fast and I think I'm going to sign him up for the Preschool once a week at first just to see how it goes... :) I just got a call yesterday that they have an opening -- he was on the waiting list since August -- and he can be a part of the big Preschool Family... lol

Being at the gym is great as well, tho I'm NOT shedding off those extra pounds from Europe... :( But I guess I'll get there eventually... :)
Yoga class is definately my favorite and I feel pain when I can't go when I have to go to work... :(
But I also discovered Soul Grooves class that is all about dancing and I can feel like dancing queen once a week... :) LOVE it...

Speaking of queens I'm reading the second book by Philippa Gregory -- The Boleyn Inheritance -- love it almost as much as I loved The Other Boleyn Girl...
When I'm done with it probably I'll start reading another of her books... :) Or read a new dan Brown book that just came out last week... :) Tho Bry didn't like it that much, but I still can enjoy it... :)

And that would be all that kind of happened in the past couple of months but now I'll be more on track cuz I want to publish this blog into the book again... :) And so I have to stay on track...

So tomorrow we're all flying to London and stay there till Saturday morning and then we take off for France and Spain... I can't say that I'm not suuuuper excited for that but before I leave I want to post some pictures from Poland cuz later I don't think I'll post any from Ollie's little adventures thru the park... lol

He loves to watch birds and he calls them "kaka" and tells them "No" all the time when they're trying to eat some bread that people give them but he LOVES to feed them too and it's sooo cute when he does that... lol

Sometimes as my Mom, Olivier and I go grocery shopping in the morning and the weather is nice, we let Ollie loose and let him play at the playground by our house... :)

But most of the time he just goes outside after his 2-3h nap with Grandpa Zbyszek and he LOVES those trips the most... Grandpa lets him get dirty and run around like crazy and takes his little bike on those trips as well (I guess my Mom and I are NOT THAT exciting) lol

Grandpa also spoils Lil'O cuz he takes him for ice cream afterwards...

When they come back my Lil'O is EXHAUSTED and while he's waiting for his bath he likes to watch "kajki" (cartoons) and just relax on my parents bed...

Then he's ready for his bath and the funniest thing is he LOVES to put his little teddy bear for "time out" cuz most of the time his little teddy bear doesn't want to take a bath and Ollie needs to punish him while he's laughing like this... lol

Then Ollie goes to sleep and I have time to play with my Mom "Chinczyk" and just get upset with her when I lose... lol

But I still cherish short moments like this when Ollie comes to me and wants to cuddle... lol

LOVE THAT!

The only problem is... Ollie need a haircut and as soon as we walked in to the barber, Ollie was on his way out... :(
Oh well I guess his hair is going to get loooong... lol

HAPPY BELATED FATHER'S DAY!!!

Just got back from Sokolniki and I must say that I had wonderful time there during Father's Day weeknd.... Not mentioning my cute little Olivier who's totally IN LOVE with that place tho he missed his Daddy quite a bit.... :(
He's NEVER bored in there and is finding more and more stuff to do each time we're there...

And while doing it he's always finding the way to make me laugh... lol

Here he's eating THE BEST bread ever making funny faces that only he can do... lol

After having so much fun he takes naps and he's really out!!!

Now it's raining pretty bad and so we had to go back but
I bet we'll go there again... lol

Europe...

I've missed almost 2 months of blogging but I think it's time to go back to writing everything that has been going on in my life because it looks like that the past 2 months are just a blurry dark hole in my memory and it's hard to recall anything... lol And so starting right now... I'm back in Europe... :) I had an amazing flight thanks to my friend, because I was able to meet the pilots and was moved to a business class pretty fast on my flight to London... Pretty sweet... :)
My flight to Warsaw went pretty smoothly and I got to Lodz in no time, which was super cool... :)

Now I've been in Lodz for almost 2.5 weeks and I'm having a wonderful time... :)
I went shopping to my favorite stores -- Zara, H&M -- and got the cutest outfits for Olivier, not forgeting about myself, of course, and so I got some summer dresses and skirtsthat are the coolest!!!! But hey, it's Europe... :)
My Mom and I took Olivier with us and when we went to eat something afterwards he was just the cutes little boy EVER.... :)

We also went to Sokolniki -- the place where we have a cabin in the forest -- and had a blast... Olivier could not get enough of his freedom, running like crazy most of the time...
We grilled and relaxed and took a LOT of pictures!!! lol

Another fun thing we did was going to the Aquarium in Manufaktura and that was sure a lot of fun... :)

Ollie also enjoyed going to the Kids Place...

And going to the Pikolo Theater here in Lodz with my parents.... :)

So far so good... I'll post more pictures from our trip another day but I hope you'll all enjoy those pics... :)

It's probably time for another post just keep truck of things that I've been doing lately... :) And so today I want to make a post about my cute kids that I teach at church... Most of the time they are super challenging, but there are many many moments that are so cool... And when I leave, I'll definitely miss them... :(

From Olivier news, he's more and more like me... :)
For example when I was little, I was terrorizing my parents during morning chores like getting dressed, since I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to wear and so Ollie is the same... He has his own idea of what he wants to wear that day and he tries to terrorize me, but I'm fighting back, but still it costs me a LOT to stay calm and sometimes going to work doesn't seem like a bad thing at all... :)
Even if it's another floorset and I have to stay at work till 1 or 2 in the morning, like today... :(

Other than that I have a new plan on how to stay focused on going to the gym and making an effort to look better, since last week I didn't work out at all... :(
Only one day last week I went to Lifetime Fitness, but decided to hang out by the pool and that was soooo relaxing and nice...
But today I did spinning class and tomorrow on my day off, I'm planning to take soul grooves class, which I took a couple of weeks ago and I loved it, so keep your fingers crossed for me... :)
Friday I'm going out with my friends and I'll try sauna for the first time and I'm definitely looking forward to that... :) After sushi dinner.... Mmmmm... Delightful... :)

Also, before I forget, I want to report that I'mm addicted to Ceasar Salad... I tried it at my friends house last week and now all I wanto to eat is ceasar salad... Pretty funny... :)

Oh, Id better go and put Ollie for a nap and start getting ready for work or I'll look like mess... :)

So the other night Bry and I went to my first major baseball game and I had tons of fun... I was super excited and was taking a lot of pictures before...

And during the game... :)

We met some of his coworkers there and they made it even more fun, since we shared funnel cake and homemade vanilla icecream sundae together and we teased Bry a little bit, since he was cheering for LA Dodgers and his coworkers were all Houston Astros fans... Jennifer and I even put this little Astros cap on him and he was so funny... :)

We even found time to be gooffy... :)

We should have more outings like that... :)

I know it's kind of late, but I always have to update my blog whenever I have time -- day off and since it's today, then I'll take some time and write what we were up to last week, bacause we had an amazing weekend... :)

On Friday, I had a HUGE sale in the store and so I could get 60% off anything as the manager and I decided it would be a perfect opportunity for me to get Easter presents for Bry and so around 4.30pm Bry stopped by and chose the suit and a tie and a couple of shirts that he liked and I got my first leather jacket that I totally adore... :)
But Bry wasn't the only one that got a suit for Easter... On Sunday Ollie wore his 3 piece suit to church and he looked totally dashing -- if I'm allowed to use that word if it comes to a boy!!! :)

When we got home from church, we started preparing dinner, since Jeff, Melissa, Nadia and Finn joined us after their church and we had a lot of fun... :) Just look at those pictures... :)

After dinner we made Polish Pisanki and I think we all had a blast, since it wasn't messy at all... :)

We all had a turn and Pisanki came out looking both cute and great... :)
Easter Bunny came also to Nadia, Olivier and Finn and I think they all were super happy... :)

On Monday, Bry and I celebrated Wet Monday, which is another polish tradition that we love... The first Monday after Easter, we spray people that we like/love with water... You can use water guns or small spray bottles or whatever else you have and spray all the people you see that day that you know with small amount of water... :)
Last year, Bry got me first and so I said to myself that this year I'll be better prepared... And so I was... :)
On Sunday night I charged water gun and when Bry got up in the morning and started walking to the bathroom I sprayed him with water...
Then he ran to the bathromm looking for a gun, but the gun was with me and so I laughed... :) But he put some water and splashed me with it and I was soaked...
It was ON!!!! :)
Later that night he got splashed by me again and it was even funnier... :)

Most of the Tuesday I spend at work and tomorrow night I'm going to be there again, but today is all for Olivier and Bry that I miss so much every day I'm away... And so we're going to do something fun... I just can't wait... :)

I have another day off today and so far it's great... :) I went to the gym and took yoga class -- it's my favorite -- and then tried new machine at the gym for 30 minutes... It work out your core and legs and the movement is similiar to skating or skiing and it's a lot of fun... :)

When Ollie and I got home, we played in our backyard for a little bit, since it's pretty warm and nice outside -- although it looks like it might rain later...

Now he's watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and I'm blogging and talking to my mom that is back from London and I can finally talk to her... :)
But the naptime for Ollie is coming and I can hardly wait (don't want to sound mean or anything, but he really needs to go and sleep for a little bit), since there's plenty of stuff that needs to be done... Like cleaning and some more laundry... :)

When Bry gets home and Ollie wakes up, we might go to the restaurant or something and maybe work on another Easter project, since we have a couple to do... :)

Last time Ollie and I went to the store and picked up some Easter Candy and we put Easter Baskets for friends and family together and that was a lot of fun... :)
Later that day (Tuesday) we took them to Nadia and Finn and Granma/Grandpa... Ollie wasn't too thrilled about NOT getting the baskets back, but loved carrying them around... :)

What couple of weeks I had....

First of all Bry, Olivier and I went to the egg hunt in ES and we had tons of fun... Ollie knows now what do do and he was so cute getting the eggs... :)

It was a lot of fun, since they had camel rides and pony rides for kids and thy even set up a petting zoo, which was super cool and we all enjoyed it a lot...
The only downside was the weather... It was super windy and let me tell you, the wind was NOT warm...

And so... I got sick... I had really bad cough and then on Tuesday I started throwing up and developed really high temperature... :(

In between being sick I had to go to work a couple of times and that cost me getting sick even more, but on Saturday I really rested and I'm better now... :) So it's all good... :)

The week before that Ollie got horrible cough and we ended up taking him to the doctor and poor boy had sinus infection and had to take antibiotic for 10 days... :(

This past Saturday and Sunday was General Conference and it was so nice just to listen to talks and relax and eat and watch kids play with each other... :)
Mom and I even watched a movie on Saturday night and had chinese while Lori was working and the boys were at the Priesthood... :)

All in all it was a good weekend and I definitely have more energy for the new week... :) So just enjoy and stay healthy!!! :)

Today I just had a meeting at 8.30am at work and now I'm done... :) It feels nice to have day off, especially that I don's have to clean or anything because Bry cleaned the whole apartment the other day and did laundry,
so I can just chill and relax... :)

Lori and Mom picked up lunch and I had taco salad that was delicious and now I feel like taking a nap... :) And I'm seriously considering taking one... :)

But before that I just want to write that Ollie's SO mature lately... Still not talking much, but you sure know what he wants from you... :) His favorite answer for everything is NO and he says that with such seriousness that you can't stop laughing... :)
When he goes to bed at night, he wants to be tucked in, have his Toy Story book read in Polish and needs kisses and a bottle of juice with him... It's so cute... :)

On other news I just got tickets for France and London and I just can barely wait till then... Now i have to wait for my next paycheck and get tickets for Ollie and I to poland and time sure flies since we have only 2 months left and counting... :)

It's Crazy....

So I love my work and I'm done with training and as of yesterday I carry the keys to the store... I took the key quiz, passed it and closed the store all by myself yesterday... :)
I'm pretty proud of myself because I was fast, effcient, made plan for the day and stretch plan and all in all had a great day... :)

But what really IS crazy...
So going back a couple of weeks I had a customer that was saying how pretty I was and stuff like that to the cashier and how I'm a breeze of fresh air etc., but then Ramon -- the cashier and Alex -- co manager, told him I was married and have a kid, but the guy didn't care at all...
And so he came back a couple of times after that just to see me, but Ramon -- he's my official bodyguard now, gave me a feedback and so I had time to hide in the backroom -- lately I do it a lot -- but yesterday I was the only manager on duty and couldn't run and hide... And so he came back again -- he's name is Simon -- and was wondering when I was working next and when I take lunch breakes... Pretty interesting... I really hope Ramon or Alex are working when he comes back... :)

But going back to the story... Yesterday Simon wasn't my only problem -- and I truly have NO clue how it all works -- I had like 5 other customers who needed only MY hep desperately... Couldn't take of their jackets off and needed help, needed different sizes or needed somebody to pick ties for them to match their shirts... Pretty funny, because I've NEVER been hit on that often!!!!! I have some weeks that guys notice me, but not in one day....
And the craziest part is coming... This guy comes in with his girlfriend and is looking at 1MX shirts and I talk to his girl about promotions and stuff and then go and help other desperate guys in the store -- by then mens side of the store is packed and we don't have enough coverage of people to help -- I forget about him completely as I was BUSY... And then Brittany call me on the radio to the cashwrap and I think to myself: "Great, touble" and as I'm there the guy asks me to say something... I feel akward... Brittany explains to me that he was asking about me and that she told him that I have the cutest accent ever because I'm Polish and that he wants to hear it... I still feel akward but my speach came back and so I said something and so he goes: "Man, that's sexy... SO sexy..." His girl is standing next to him but she doesn't look upset... I feel even more akward... They leave... Brittany and I are not sure if it was his girlfriend eventhough he was calling her baby...

Last week NO ONE even looked at me...
Two weeks ago I had Simon and three or four other guys...
Three weeks ago... I don't remember.... So probably zero guys...

Do I look one week good and the other not?
Or one week normal and the other like a witch?

It's Official....

Well.... The company is still on the hiring freeze, but our store is not, since one of the managers left Express for good and so I took his place... I'm still going to do my fashion thing, but not as much I guess...
Bry and I talked this over and extra money (and I mean extra money when I say that -- my pay is so much nicer now) is always good, especially that we want to travel together, even if it means Bry will be with Ollie and I only for a week or two, but it's always something and building memories together is priceless and so worth it... :) Another great thing about it is that they let me travel to Poland for 2 months, which is super cool, too and another reason, why I went for it...
If you're good at something, do it for good money, right? :)
Full benefits -- not that I needed it so much -- paid time off is great as well... :)
And so I'm managing... :)
I started Monday -- yesterday -- and be in training for a little bit, but I already love it... It's so much fun and I'm in charge, I decide what I want to do, instead of being assigned to do things... :) And if you know me, you know that I like to put people in corners... Sometimes... :)

Tlusty Czwartek...

So today is Tlusty Czwartek which means Fat Thursday and in Poland we eat doughnuts all day long... :) The good thing is we don't have any doughnuts at home today and when Bry gets home we'll probably have some but still I won't be able to eat that many because I'm going to work... :)

But if you feel like having a LOT of doughnuts -- go for it and eat one or two for me... :)

And since we're talking food and yummy food I want to say that I tried this blondie brownie recipe that Sarah shared with us and I LOVE it... It tastes exactly like the one from Applebee's and it's my favorite dessert ever and that's probably the main reason why I'm NOT eating doughnuts today... :)

On the healthy side though I took fitness yoga class today and it made me feel so good and relaxed and I'm definitely ready for the new day... :) Which is a new start for me and maybe I'll shed those extra pounds... :)

All in all I must also admit that I love that new gym and Bry wants to join as well, so I guess I'll take him one more time to work out with me in the afternoon/evening and we'll see if he won't change his mind, but I would love to work out with him and take some classes together or go to sauna or swimming as a couple... I think it would be a lot of fun... :)

From Ollie news... He got new shoes from the Disney store and he's totally in love with them... He wants to wear them all the time and when he goes to bed he cries for them... Mmmm... I'm not sure I'll ever buy him shoes that he LOVES so much because there's simply too much drama involved... :)
And the worst part? He likes to wear them with socks... NOT so good... :)

I can't believe how
behind I am with EVERYTHING.... :(

Mostly, it's because I'm lazy -- yeah, hard to admit, but still true -- but also I've been working quite a bit last week (almost 30h) and worke out a LOT, since I LOVED the yoga class I took last Monday and I was telling you all about on my blog and so since then I'm taking every single yoga/pilates class that they offer in my new gym... :) Today though I'll take a belly dancing class and later that evening cycle class with Bryan, since I got some guest passes for him and hopefully he'll join the gym and we'll be able to do rock climbing or swimming/sauna which would be tons of fun... :)

If it comes to work -- finishing the topic -- I went to a short fashion show last Tursday and that was a blast, although there's another one this week, I decided to stay home with Bry and do a comedy night... Maybe next time I'll do it with Bry... :)

On me being tagged so many times by so many people I have one thing to say... I'll do my best and one by one do "funny stuff" on my blog -- PROMISE!!! :)

And now about our Valentine's Day... :)
This year we decided to make little buckets for the family with candy and they turned out really great... :)

On Friday night, after my work, Bry took Ollie and I to Applebee's and that was so much fun, especially that lately we don't have much time to do things together and Saturday morning we got doughnuts for breakfast and just hanged out for the most part of the day, untill I had to go to work and close the store... :(
Sunday was Sunday and so we went to church and that was fun, especially that it was a very sunny day and I got to take some pics of Ollie outside and he was sooooo cute... :)

It was also fun, bacause I got to dress up... :)

And here's just me and Ollie together... :)

On Monday Bry got day off and we continued living our dreams... We helped our friend move and then went to the Woodlands mall where we went to Sephora and I got a couple of things that I'm really excited about... :)

Also yesterday was our cleaning day, since I had a day off as well and so it looks sooo nice upstairs... We still have to work on downstairs, but it shouldn't take long... :) But I'd better get to work.. :)

Week passed by faster than I expected and I guess, I have to post something, before some of you get into conclusion that I dissappeared for good... :)

I was just up to a lot of things lately... :) Mostly, it was my work and projects that I had to finish for it like putting the fashion poster/board to inspire my co workers and other people to look better and take care of themseves...
I also had to put 8 outfits together for the fitting rooms and let me tell you... Some of them are selling like crazy!!! :)
In between that I was helping to straighten and perfect the store before the corporate visit and work on the floorset till 2.30am in the morning today... The plan was to put things together from the paper they sent us in the mail, but ended up putting the whole back of the store together by myself due to the lack of merchendise... And I loved it... :) I guess my creative side talks lately and that makes me so happy... :)

Also, Bry, Lil'O and I attended the grand opening of the Lifetime Fitness and just fell in love with that place... Other than that it's huge, it offers tons of amazing classes like fitness yoga or just regular yoga -- a must to take classes on my list -- pilates, hip hop class, jazz/modern dance -- another amazing class that I have to take -- cycle class with imax screens and it has fabulous indoor and outdoor day care with big flat tvs and play area that Ollie will just love... :) It also has 2 swimming pools that I just can't wait to try... :)
So today afternoon I'm taking my first yoga class and am so excited about that... :)

From other projects I decided that I want to do more stuff with my hair, since it's getting long (love that fact) and so I took my InStyle magazine -- thanks for that Christmas present Baby -- and kind of taught myself to do this fab updo and it's so cute and easy....

Also on Saturday Bry was perfecting his baking the bread skills and that's the outcome... :)

Bread was delicious, especially when we added butter and honey that we're crazy about lately... :)

On Sunday I put my new outfit on -- I just love that print on that skirt -- it's sooo Michael Kors -- and got some pics taken by Bry... And Ollie was enjoying it as well, which is always a plus... :)

Bry got his chance as well and I think they both look adorable... :)

And as a closure to my post, I just want to write about Lill'O and how independent he is... Most of the time when I get ready upstairs, he comes to our bedroom, turns tv on, lays in our bed, drinks his juice and watches tv like nothing happened... So cute... :)

I'm Worn Out...

Although I feel way better today after I slept for 12h straight and went to bed at 8pm yesterday, I still think I'm going to go to bed around 2am today and here's why...
Well, first of all I'm closing the store today ad since people from corporate are here, it has to look amazing!!! :)

Second of all -- the reason why I was staying up late lately -- Saturday I was attending 2 Birthday parties, one for Finn and second for my friend from work and so I went to bed laaaateeee...

Sunday I was working on my work project -- putting the fashion board together and so yet again I went to bed around 2am...

Monday morning wanted to help out at work and perfect the store before the visit from the corporate and so had to get up around 6.30am to be at work around 8am and to take Ollie to Mom so she could babysit for me...
At work I developed sore throat and didn't feel well, so when I got home, I just crashed... And I could do that, because Ollie was in bed dead asleep and Mom made dinner for us, so I didn't have to worry about that and so I didn't... :)

Today is Tuesday and I feel so much better... I even went to the gym and took cycle class... :)
Now I'm going to put Ollie for a nap and get ready for work myself... :)
Since I'm all rested... :)

What's Been New...

Ollie found his green binkie... And... He gave it back to me after a couple of minutes... Pretty cool... :)
Right now he's watching Piglets Big Movie and I think it's his favorite... :) He still says "Pooh" the first thing in the morning when he wakes up and it's the cutest thing ever... :) Also, while watching his Pooh movie as he calls it, he does his puzzles that he got for Christmas... :)

Other than that, I've gained 5lbs and am NOT happy about that, so today I took 2 classes at the gym and hopefully will stay away from food... Yeah, that is my MAJOR problem lately... I'm planning to take yoga classes at the new gym and maybe switching the routine a little bit will help me with my problem... Hopefully...
Some of you might think that I'm skinny and don't need a diet, but I'll tell you this... I'm straggling lately with that, because not only I'm NOT where I was before the pregnancy, but I've gained weight to top that... NOT SO GOOD... :(

On the brighter side, we have a store meeting on Sunday morning and it's the first day of February, which means that the hiring freeze is over and so I can be promoted... :) Yeah... :)

Also, I'm enjoying the spring weather lately... I feel the change is about to happen and eventhough from time to time we his some low temperatures, but I love this kind of weather... And so yesterday after the gym I took some cute colorful pics of myself... :)

I also want to say, and that's ALL I'm going to say about that -- Lost was pretty awesome yesterday, with that twist at the end... :)

Grandma's/Grandpa's Day And The Project X...

We celebrated Grandmas and Granpas Day the other day and Olivier got a chance to talk to his Grandparents and send them little card that we made together for them during the Project X... I can tell you that Olivier did great and was actually super excited to make them and then hear their voices on the phone... :)

Update...

What a busy busy week it's been...

First, last Friday, Olivier lost his pacifier at Grandma's house and so he needed to go to bed without it and so he's binky -- free... And so are we... :)
Although, I have to admit it, Bry and I almost got it for him on Saturday morning during grocery shopping trip, but we didn't... :)
On Sunday I did my first floorset at work and it basically lasted from 6pm till 3am and actually was a lot of fun... I'll definitely do it again... :)

Monday morning I had to wake up at 7, because Bry, Olivier, Lori, Kevin and I went to the ZOO and we all had wonderful time... :)

Yesterday, I cancelled my 24h Fitness Membersip and signed for the new Lifetime... I just can't wait to start new classes and put Ollie in a new better daycare there... :) I't going to be an experience!!! :)

Today, I'm working on laundry and trying to get ready for work, but basically it's not going too good, because I'm doing 10 thousand things at the same time... :)

Mmmmm....

What's new? There are a couple of things... :)
For example Bry's joined blogging world and started his own blog at http://www.bdhemming.blogspot.com/ and he put tons of pictures of his art, which is really cool... Also, I hope in the future, he'll put parts of his book that he's working on, because it would be fun to read, since he's really really amazing writer... So make sure to check it out... :)

Olivier's changed his template and you kind of knew it was coming... :) Just click over here to check it out... :)

Also, I talked to Mindy and as soon as the hiring freeze is over at work -- February -- she's going to promote me... Now the only dilemma is... Do I want to be a manager or a fashion expert... Help me make up my mind... :)

My friend from Indiana is here and we're going out tomorrow and I just can't wait to see her, since it's been a long long time... I bet it's going to be fun to catch up on our lives... :)

Also, Olivier and I are working on a fun project that I can't say a word about now, but you'll find out soon enough... :)

New Year New Me And New Look...
Blog's Look...

New Year is here and while I'm still adjusting, I was thinking if I changed that much... To me I still feel the same and eventhough the year on the calendar has changed I still don't see new me... Or feel differently for that matter... :(
So I decided to change my blog a little and play with new colors and I must say I'm happy with the results... :)
If it comes to me I can FEEL that the change is coming and I'm sooooo excited for that! That's the weirdest thing in the world to me, but most of the time, I can tell that those little changes in me that I don't notice most of the time are going to bring a BIG one and I LOVE changes, so I just can't wait... :)
I don't think I'm making that much sense today, so I'll just stop for now... All in all I know what I'm talking about... :) Sort of... :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
It's hard for me to believe that 2009 is already here...
But I bet it's going to be a fun year and I already have
some plans to travel -- Great Britain, France and Spain --
and I just can't wait... :)
In a meantime though, I'll do what I can to stay busy
and I guess it won't be hard at all...

If it comes to New Year's Eve,
as soon as I got home from work, I noticed that Bry
cooked dinner for the two of us
and it was super sweet... :)

He put a lot of work and thought into it and
that made the day special... :)
After dinner we watched some movies and fell asleep,
so we missed the fireworks, which is a bummer,
but maybe next year we won't miss the fun... :)

On New Years Day, Bry and I went shopping
to the mall and spent the rest of the day hanging out with
Bry's family, playing basketball with Kevin, Jeff and Tim,
eating way too much food and just enjoying the moment...
Now, we're all back to normal...
Working, going to the gym, cooking, cleaning, etc...

CHRISTMAS

We had a really fun Christmas this year...
Sunday Bry and I made home made cream cheese sugar cookies
and we had tons of fun doing it... :)

I took some to work and we gave some to the relatives
and I think they enjoyed them at least as much as we
enjoyed making them... :)

Monday Bry got off work early and we spent some of the
afternoon together, but later that night
and the rest of the week to be exact I spent working
and I thought it was going to be hard but in reality
it was a lot of fun and people were nice and it was super busy
which I really loved... :)

On Christmas Eve, just right after my work, we spent with
Bry's fam reading christmas stories from the Bible
and just hanging out... :)

When we got to our house Bry let us open a couple of presents
and so Ollie and I got a chance to enjoy new things --
me new make up and Ollie new play-doh set... :)

Christmas morning -- for the first time in my life --
I slept till like 8 and as soon as I woke up, Bry, Olivier and I opened
our presents... :)
We started with the crackers (that's the British tradition
similiar to the American stockings) and I'm in love with those...
They pop and then you find some cute and useful stuff in it...
Pretty cool! :)
After the crackers came my sister's and parents presents
and they were amazing!!! :)

Around 9, we all drove to Bry's parents house and opened some more
presents and to be honest I got everything I really
wanted this year, which is super cool... :)
Ollie was feverish by that time and I can only
imagine what's going to happen in the next couple
of years when he's REALLY going to understand
what's going on... :)

In the afternoon most of us drove to College Station
to look at some Christmas lights and that was really magical
and I'm glad I got a chance to go... :)

And today I went back to work and the mall was packed!!!
But I still had an amazing time and even though
the Christmas Christmas part is over, I still
wish everybody
Merry Merry X-Mas!!! :)

Well...
Yesterday Bry found out that he got a raise at work and
it's a second one this year,
so as you can all imagine, we're both really excited,
because that means that he's doing a really good job
as an asylum officer
and also because it's Christmas Time... :)
What can be better than just having extra money? :)

But this year, we've decided that we're not doing anything
big and that we want to focus more on the birth of
Christ than actually getting each other
a lot of presents and so Olivier is pretty much
the only one that will get more and if it comes to Bry and I,
we're getting each other small gifts...
And I'm pretty excited about that, too...

I also want to do for Olivier what my friends did last year
for their kids
and get him 3 gifts for the Christmas Eve...
One that he really really wants -- wrapped in the gold paper,
one for his body -- wrapped in the brown paper and
one that is more spiritual/gospel related -- wrapped in the
white paper...
All 3 gifts are symbolizing 3 gifts Jesus got from
the Wise Men -- Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh
and I thought it would be such a good idea to do it this year... :)

Also, we decided to do some charity family project,
so we think we might end up in the HAAM
building in H - Town
and help out a little... :)
This might be a lot of fun and great opportunity
to feel grateful... :)

If it comes to my work, we're staying pretty busy before
the holidays and I'm loving it! There's nothing better
than being super busy... :)
I also got asked by M. -- the store manager --
to be the manager, but I think -- for the first time in my life --
that I'd rather get the fashion expert position and not
deal with all the drama... :)
But still, it was super nice that she thought about me and
that she sees how good I am at what I do... :)

Other than that, this week was pretty laid back for me
and not too crazy, which was a nice change... :)
Right now, for example, Bry is painting, I'm blogging and
finishing some other projects, while
listening to the christmas music...
Pretty cool... :)

Yesterday I spent most of my evening at work
and so I couldn't see it or take any cool pictures of the snow,

Babysitting...

Today I'm babysitting for my friends Amy and Nicole, so they
could go to the Temple and that's basically what's
going on in here... :)

Also, later on I'm going to work for a couple
of hours and I really hope it's going to be a slow day in there... :)
And I just heard a thunder and I'm afraid that
the storm is coming, so I'd better get going... :)

Santa's Day... :)
We had a wonderful day yesterday... I woke up around 7.20
-- as usual --
and decided that I cannot wait any longer and so
I came downsairs to check out what I got...
I got really lucky and got some make up that I really
needed and wanted... :)
Bry got a couple of shirts and a Barne's and Noble
giftcard and when Ollie finally woke up and came
downstairs, he found the first present from
Polish Santa (the other one is on it's way)...
(polish ornament for a Christmas Tree and
original gingerbread cookies from Torun)

and some from local one... :)
He got some blocks and a book with stickers and animals
that he really really liked... :)

Later that morning, I went to my hair stylist and did my color and
yes, I don't have my extensions anymore, since I'm
letting my hair rest for a month or so and then
put them back in again... :)

When I came back, Olivier, Bryan and I went to see
the Nativity Exhibit that we were really looking forward to
and I would put some cool pics I took there, but
I deleted them all by accident yesterday evening
(Becky probably put some on her blog,
so you can check it out by clicking here),
so sorry -- there are none... :(

After the exhibit, Grandma and Grandpa took
us all out to the Mexican Restaurant
after which Bry, Olivier and I drove downtown H.
and visited Bry's friends from work for a party...
It was a lot of fun, but again, no pictures... :(

Today is our lazy and laidback day, which means
we're taking it easy, enjoying the season, by eating
pumpkin chocolate chip bread and banana bread
with hot chocolate,
visiting family for dinner and having HT... :)

So in here, the season for hot chocolate, warm scarves, sweaters,
jackets has started... :)
And so today as the called me off work, I decided to take adventage
of that by making myself hot chocolate with caramel syrup,
marshmellows, milk and whip cream... :)
Mmmmmm...

But my day didn't start THAT great...
Ollie woke me up crying at 6.15am and wouldn't calm down, so
I went to check on him and poor boy was all wet -- his shirt,
bottoms, blankets, everything, so I started fixing the problem,
but as I was doing that, Ollie got up and thought it's tme for him
to put his shoes on and by that I mean WTP
(Winnie The Pooh) shoes that I think are ghetto, but the boy
loves them so much that when he goes for his nap and
we have to take them off, he screams!!! :(
And so it took me awhile to calm him down
and explain to him that it was still night night time... :(

Then around 8 he was all up and ready, but after awhile started crying and
so I knew that the time for picking him up from his room came...
As I entered his room the smell of the poop was horrid
and the next thing I saw was Ollie sitting by the wall,
covered in poop on his crocodile -- also covered in poop...
AGAIN
And so I started clening him off but I figured it was just
easier to give him a bath...
As I started the water, Ollie disappeared and
when I went to look for him
there was pee on the carpet and Ollie standing
next to it...
NOT a good thing...
20 minutes later we were all happy, eating breakfast and watching
My Friends Tigger and Pooh,
but that kind of set my mood a little bit, but then I got a phonecall
and found out I didn;t have to work and so I dressed up and went to
the mall to do some Chrismas shopping,
since tomorrow is Santa's Day and we all --
as long as we have clean shoes --
get small gifts from Santa... :)

Also today, Bry and I are going to see the Nativity show
that our church is holding and then we drop Ollie off at Grandma's
and go to see a movie and eat dinner... :)
So I guess, it's all good now... :)

So I told you all about my idea of the anniversary presents
for Bry and did tell you what he got first... :)
But then I didn't say anything else about it up until now... :)
So on the second day, Bry got a super cool tie from me and a sweatshirt
on the third (he's really in need of new clothes and I guess
I'm pimping his style :))
and I got my OTHER present that I didn't expect to get at all,
since I got VS stuff two days before that...
But I did get it and I love it so so much!!!
Finally, I got the new Canon camera that I wanted so bad,
since my last one got stolen -- this story will follow in one of those days --
and I got it and I'm so happy!!! :)

So that was on Wednesday... Yesterday I was planning and cooking and baking for Olivier's Birthday Party... :)
First I was baking my favorite pumpkin chocolate chip bread...

And while waiting, I did some goody bags for Nadia and Finn... :)

And green salad, fruit salad with blueberry dip and
chicken cacciatore for dinner... :)

While I was doing all that stuff, Bry was working on putting
Ollie's presents together or one in particuliar
his motorcycle... :)

When we arrived after Olivier's nap all ready for a party
at Beckys' everything was beautifully set up and ready for us... :)

The cake that Melissa made for Ollie was there too... :)

But we were all hungry and so we started with dinner first
and then Ollie opened his presents... :)

After presents came time for the cake and we sang Ollie
the theme song from My Friends Tigger and Pooh
and that was a hit!!! :)
Just so you know, Ollie cries when you sing Happy Birthday song... :)

After the cake Ollie and Nadia played with each other and Ollie's new toys and I think everybody's had an amazing time... :)

And today is Thankgiving and I hope everybody's having an awesome time!!! :)

Twilight...

Well, I saw the movie twice already and I actually like it...
First time I saw it Thursday night, just right after
my work and there were some parts then that I didn't like too much,
like the whole Rosalie character --
I expected so much more, I guess, someone totally gorgeous,
tall, skinny, beautiful and she's not even close... :(
Then, Jasper's face was funny looking all the time --
there are no words to explain that, so you just have to see it
for yourself and some parts of the movie were pretty corny and cheesy
for my taste...
But then I went and saw it again and actually I was able to see
some cool stuff, too... :) Like for example when Bella
is dishing up and because of her clumsiness she drops
an apple and Edward catches it and puts his hands
together and we see the first book's cover,
which is pretty cool... Did you catch that?
Also, I love James and Victoria and the way
they played their parts...
Maybe I would dye Victorias' hair to make it more red,
but that would be the only thing I would change... :)
I really liked Charlie and enjoyed the whole beginning of the movie,
where Bella is a narrator and tells the story of herself... :)
By the way, I really like Bella as well and that makes a whole
big difference, except maybe for the part where she talks to her
mom over the phone and all of the sudden -- out of the thin air --
she gets all upset...
There were also a couple of other things that I was not loving,
but I think I'll buy a movie on DVD... :)
And maybe go and see it again... :)

From other news, Bry and Olivier set up
Christmas Decorations in the living room and we have a
Christmas Tree and a Victorian Village all set up and
Ollie knows he can't touch it and that it's off limits for him,
which is pretty cool... :) Pictures will follow... :)

Also, I decided to do something fun for Bry's
and mine 6th Wedding Anniversary that is coming this Wednesday...
I figured that each day, in the morning, he'll get a
present from me and so today was the first day and
Bry got super cool sweater that he wanted for awhile now... :)
Tomorrow he'll get another one and then on Wednesday... :)

I got my present pretty early, because on Saturday I got one of my favorite perfumes, cosmetic bag, lotion and some make up and I love al of it!!! :)
So I guess I'm all ready... :)

James Bond

So Bry and I went and saw new James Bond movie and I LOVED it!!! I'm a total JB fan and so I was SUPER excited to go and see it... I dressed up and all that, which made it even more special for me...
I have to admit that I liked the Casino Royale a little bit more, because it felt like it was more JB movie -- cool gadgets, cars, etc., but Quantum of Solace was amazing too... It had amazing starting song -- Alicia Keys and Jack White Another Way To Die -- and then linked to the first movie -- Goldfinger -- ever done for the series, which I thought was pretty cool... :)

From other cool events that took place last week, I talked to Mindy (store manager in Express) and she said I'm going to be trained for the fashion expert position and that she would shoot her feet if she didnt give that position full time to me since I'm her best seller ever and that probably made my week, since I really LOVE helping people look better and feel better about themselves and probably that got me some cool ideas for the future for what I want to do in my life, which is amazing!!! :)

If it comes to Ollie, I guess he decided to paint - or should I say carve -- his wall above the bed, after watching his Daddy paint all the time lately and as soon as Bry opened his bedroom door the other day, Ollie dragged him to the wall and explained everything on the picture which was really cute, although I'm not that excited about the wall... :) Also, I'm adding Bry's recent art pieces that I really like... Enjoy... :)

And here's my favorite one, I think, although I really love all of them... :)

I also had a dentist appointment today and I still feel pretty funny after that, since my right side is numb, including my right ear... :( But I bet the swelling will go away in a couple of hours, so I'll be good to go... :)

Happy Birthday Olivier!!!

It' so hard to believe that Ollie's already 2!!! Wow!!! Time sure flies way too fast! :)
I still remember being pregnant with him and waiting with aticipation for him to be born and now he's 2!!! Scary!!!
He got up in a super cool mood today and I'm so grateful for that!!! :) He was knocking on the door and when I opened it he was all ready for the day with his little suitcase that he got from his aunt Monika from London, all packed w/ his favorite items -- Winnie the Pooh, binky, diaper... Really cute...

Although TODAY the rutine was different... He got his Happy Birthday song and breakfast to bed and that scared him a little and he started crying, but fast enough he got a grip on himself and started eating his favorite foods -- not the healthies choices, but hey, it's his B-Day... :)

For the rest of the day, I'm planning to do just whatever he feels like doing and after his nap, his Daddy -- the man with the Momma -- as Ollie calls him -- will take over... :) So nothing huge will happen today, but we're planning a HUGE
B-Day party for him on Nov. 26th when everybody's here, since it's only two weeks away anyways, we decided to wait with the party and do it with Bry's family being here... :) So Get Ready For The Winnie The Pooh Birthday Bash!!! :)

PUMPKIN PATCH AND
OUR HALLOWEEN

This week Ollie and I did a lot of stuff together which was really nice since I was working 3 days this week and so I'm so glad we got to do fun stuff... :)
On Wednesday Mom took us out for lunch and to Old McDonald's farm and it made me think a LOT about last years' trip when my Mom was here...
It was still fun, but just different... And here's the outcome... :)
I was trying to take as many pictures as possible with my iPhone -- I lost my camera somewhere -- but they are not as good quality as the ones on my Canon, so sorry for the blurriness... :)

This year though, comparing to last year, Ollie was big enough to decide for himself and choose his own pumpkin, which took him forever and so he totally missed the photoshoot that Mom gave Melissa, Nadia and Finn... :(
So there are NO pictures of Ollie and me by the stack of hay... :(
Maybe next year...

Where to Start...

So many things happened since my last post that I don't even know if I remember everything... But from the most vital things...
Last week Bry and I went to a Janet Jackson concert and I loved it!!! She put a really good show and let me tell you, this girl can dance!!! The whole time, though, Bry and I were wondering how it could have been on her brothers' concert... :)
And here are a couple of pictures that we got to take from our 18th row!!! :)

Bry got a couple of days off and so we ate out a lot and did some fun stuff... Bry painted some pretty cool pictures -- pics later -- went to the mall, where Ollie played in the kids area, and we watched a lot of movies on Netflix, like Becoming Jane that I really liked, eventhough the ending wasn't what I wanted to see... :(

Also, I'm going to work for the first time today and I'm pretty excited... It's a 4h shift, so it's not too short or too long and I bet it's going to be a lot of fun, although I'm hoping that I won't be working with John, since he's always super grumpy like he just ate a lemon... :)

It's definitely not my day...

First, just right after I got ready for the gym, Olivier woke up with his left foot and was not happy at all... But I was still in a good mood and everything... We came downstairs and started looking for the keys to the car (Bry and I switched cars yesterday, so we wouldn;t have to move Ollie's carseat) and I couldn't find them anywhere!!! I let Ollie watch his favorite show and I called Bry who told me that they should be next to the painting... After taking the pictures of the "crime scene" and half an hour later, we found them in Bry shorts' pocket...
Uff... :)

Then Olivier and I went to the gym... Where we found out that there's no kids club today or tomorrow, because they just painted the back wall in there and so... I did not work out today... :(

So I thought to myself: "Hey, it's still ok, we can kill some time before Oliviers' nap and go shopping to HEB" and so we did...
After we left and put groceries in the car, I backed up and.... A guy in a truck in the parking lot figured it would be a genius idea to just hit my car... And so he did...
After dealing with that Ollie and I went home... And I don't think I'm going anywhere today...

On the bright side though I did my hair the other day and that's the outcome...
I must tell you that I love it and think I'll do it this way again and again and again... :)

Our Weekend...

We had a really good weekend in here... Relaxing and fun... :)
Saturday morning we were all just chilling in the house and after Olivier's nap we went to the Fall Festival in ES, where Ollie could see the train (Bry and I were way to lazy to wait in an hour line in order for him to get on it), jump on the trampolines -- they had 3 differnet castles -- and get some cute pumpkins...
And here's the outcome... :)

From other news... I got a job at Express and I'm starting tomorrow at 2 and I guess, I'm really excited for that, since with the extra money I can slowly start planning my trip to London, which -- if you don't know by now -- I'm totally obsessed with... :)

I went back to reading Sherlock Holmes Series and it's so much more fun, after I've been to his house on Baker Street and know where Dr Watson and Sherlock are sitting or going, etc. that it makes the whole new experience for me... :)

Also, I'll have to figure out what to do with the transportation, since the white car broke down after Jeff took it for a day -- and no, we're not going in there, but I'll figure something out and I'm sure that since Mom is back in town, she can give me a lift... :)

And today is a Columbus day and Bry, Olivier and I are planning to go to Disney store in the mall and see how Ollie will react to all the Disney charachters... It's going to be fun... :)

It's been a little crazy in here... I woke up early today, got ready for the day -- I decided agaist going to the gym -- and woke up Kevin... Ollie was not happy this morning but got better when I turned on My Friends Tigger and Pooh cartoon and so I could focus on getting KJ ready for school... We've been extremely sloooow for some reason and not well coordinated and somewhat tired -- the reason for that was that yesterday night, while Kevin was at church with scouts, the power went out on our street and so Bry and I decided to go to Mom and Dad's lace for a night. We packed everything we needed and went for an adventure of putting Ollie to bed in there. We still needed to empty the freezer and fridge, so on my way to my house, I picked KJ up from the church and as soon as we turned on my street, we noticed that the power was back on... The only problem was that Bry didn't have Ollie's carseat and so KJ and I had to run and get Bry and Ollie from Mom and Dad's place, then unpack everything and by then we all just crashed -- which caused KJ forgetting about his morning pills...

After I dropped him off at school, Ollie and I went to Target and we had to cut the trip short because Ollie just wasn't happy... :(
As soon as we got home KJ called and said that one his contact lenses fell out and if I could bring it to him... So Ollie and I were on the way again... :)
So that was our morning... :) Now things are calm -- Ollie's been taking his nap -- and I'm done with the laundry -- most of it at least and am looking forward tonight, since we're having Applebee's... :)

What's Been New...

First of all, Ollie got a haircut... He needed one bad, so Bry and I took him to our backyard on Saturday morning and cut his hair... He looks so cute, but definitely more mature... Again...

He also got a new stroller... Finally!!! They never found his at the airport and so Bry and I went to buy him a maclaren on Monday... I love it so so much! Not only the colors but also the way it rides! Awesome!!! And did I mention it's Made in England? :)

We also have a visitor with us and I must say that Kevin is so good... Not only he cleans after himself, takes showers when asked, goes to bed on time, but also does his homework by himself!!! He's a different 12 year old I remember... :)

On the other news, Ollie's addicted to Tigger and Pooh cartoon and so most of the time he's asking me for it -- like all the time -- and one day, while watching it, he sneaked to the kitchen, took the box of brownies and sat on his chair eating them like nothing happened.... So funny!!! :)

And today he switched to pizza... Another healthy food... :)

So what's been new in here? Mmmmm....
I finished reading Breaking Dawn a couple of days ago and I really liked it overall... Maybe wasn't that into it at first but somewhere halfway through the book my interest in the story picked up and so I can say that I really liked the book...

I'm sore from working out -- yeah, I hit the gym again -- and I must say that I love that feeling because it makes me feel like I'm doing something in a way that I'm taking care of myself and that I care, although I still have to change my bad eating habits that I developed while on my vacation -- I was eating everything and a lot of it at the same time... :)

I had another poopy situation with Ollie yesterday and this time Ollie didn't mess with his diaper, it was just leaking, but the outcome was as bad as before... His covers, toys, bed, carpet and Ollie's legs were all covered in you know what... At 8.30am it just made my day... :)

If it comes to stroller thing -- for those who don't know, on my way back from my trip in Europe -- in Frankfurt to be exact -- they lost Ollie's stroller -- and they can't find it still (2 weeks later)and so right now we're thinking about getting a McLaren and they will reimburst the money... :) Which is all in all a really good news... I'm thinking about something orange and if not, something bright and cute and glamour... :)

Also, I got invited to lunch today and I think I'm going for sushi for the first time in my life and I'm pretty excited about that! :)

Tomorrow on the contrary, my friends are taking me downtown H. to really good mexican restaurant as my Birthday gift and afterwards to Hank's IceCream place that is the best icecream place in the area.... Pretty nice...

Other than that we're just chilling in here and taking it slowly... :)

Today Bry went to work for the first time after the Ike and after I came home and we'll see how it goes, because he didn't go to his regular office (they're not going back there because of the mold problem) but just to the buiding close to the airport, so I guess he might be home soon... :)

Olivier and I on the other hand are going to the gym in the morning and then we have to make some errands... Then I'm going to put him for a nap, while I'll be getting ready for the day, talking to my Mom online... Yeah, we're going back to the routine...

The only change is that I applied for 3 jobs in the mall and I hope I'll get one, so I can get out of the house for a little bit during the week, since it's a part time job... But we'll see how it goes... :)

Other than that I'm still dreaming of London and that's why I'll post some pictures from my 4th day that I spent there with my sis... :)

LONDON DAY 4

On the 4th day of my stay in London my sister and I went to London Dungeon Museum that was absolutely amazing and then to Tower Bridge... It was a lot of walking, but it all sure was worth it... :)

The last two days I mostly spent between Norwood Junction -- Victoria Coach Station and the airport... Pretty looooong story, but making it short I just happened to miss 2 planes in a row... So me... :) I guess, I didn't want to leave...

Update

I think it's high time for me to write something on my blog, since I've been home -- post hurricane -- for the past 4 days and some of you might wonder what's going on...
If it comes to Ollie and I we're doing well and I think we're past the time change problem which is a great thing... :) We're still adjusting to the new situation and home -- Bry redecorated our bedroom and Ollie's room and threw me a Surprise B-Day Party that was awesome -- but when I start my routine -- the gym, shopping, cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc. -- it'll all get back to normal again... I hope... :)
And here's Ollie's new room... The theme is Jungle Book and note that Bry drew and colored this poster on the first pic all by himself... Pretty cool... :)

And that's our bedroom... I love that room now and I could just sit there for hours... :)

And now I think I'll go back to my trip to London, since I put on my blog only Day 1 and 2 and there's tons more to show... So here it comes my favorite place in the world... :)

On the third day of my stay in London my sister and I decided to go and see Big Ben, House of Parliament, London Eye, London Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Nelson's Column and here are the pictures... :)

LONDON DAY 2

On the second day my sister and I decided to go to Buckingham Palace... We went through the Green Park that on Saturdays and Sundays is full of people/kids with folding chairs, picnic baskets and newspapers where people just relax... (like any other park for that matter -- Hyde Park was the same) Pretty cool...

LONDON TOWN DAY 1

First of all I want to say that I'm in love with London... There's nothing, seriously nothing, I don't adore about it and it's something... It's loud and quiet, busy and lazy at the same time with super nice people, who are proud of what they have -- and they should be -- the buildings are combining old and new in the manner that is as natural as breathing...
I think everyone should go to London, because I'll definitely be there again and again and again... :) (if you don't know what to buy me for Christmas or Nameday or Birthday, you can contribute to this trip) :)

LONDON TOWN

Today is the day when I fly to London to spend 5 days with my sister, so probably that will be the reason why I won't be posting anything in the next little bit, but just wanted to let you all know why... I'm so excited and happy that I can hardly wait... :)
I promise I'll take tons of pictures and post them in here as soon as I come back... :)

That trip is my Birthday present from my parents and I'm so grateful for that... :)
Yesterday I had an amazing day, too, so I'm a very lucky girl... :)
First I got some pretty amazing flowers...

Got 2 different super yummy cakes...

And later went to Manufaktura for amazing dinner and saw the movie Awake with Jessica Alba, so as you can tell I had an amazing day...
Including the shopping trip I made the day before my Birthday... :)

We're Back... :)

We just came back from the Baltic Sea and Olivier and I had wonderful time... Here are some pictures that I think you might enjoy... :)

As you can imagine, we spent tons of time on the beach... Some days we were tanning/playing on the beach -- not me, as you can tell... :)

...and some days we were just enjoying beautiful, relaxing landscape, watching the smallest differences on the sea...

We also went to Ustronie Morskie and Kolobrzeg on the less sunny days... :)

Quick Update...

Just wanted to let everyone know that we made it to Poland and so far Olivier and I are having a wonderful time there, but Ollie's Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Monika are having even better time, since they can spend a LOT of time with Olivier and play with him all the time, which means I can truly relax!!!

Olivier and I are on a new schedule and I think, we're past the time change zone monster... :)
And that's even better....

I'll post some pictures later, but just wanted to let you all know, that we're still alive... And by the way, flying with Ollie to Frankfurt was a nightmare.... Truly... But he did an amazing job on a flight to Warsaw and we both slept the whole time.... :)

What's Going On...

Here's a short update on what's been going on lately in my life...
Bry left yesterday and from what he told me he has an amazing room in his hotel, cafeteria area is pretty much a nice restaurant and he can order whatever he feels like and they'll bring it to his table and also the hotel he's staying at has an awesome gym with swimming pools, 4 basketball courts, vollyball courts and they even have bootcamp class every day... So that's nice that's he's settled and he likes the place and I bet he'll find things that'll keep his occupied while he's in Dallas... :)

Here, in H. town I'm packing slowly my belongings and trying to clean the house, do last minute shopping, do some laundry, so when I come home, nothing will stink or anything... :) I'm also trying to relax, since I have like 20 hours of travelling with a 20 month old boy, who's super busy all the time, so I guess I need to relax and I'd better get to work... :)

Getting Ready...

Today I decided that it's high time for me to start getting ready for my trip and so I'm working on laundry, folding my clothes, putting some cosmetics together -- I don't want to do everything last minute, because I'll forget way too much stuff that I will definitely need in Poland, but since I know myself well enough, I'll still forget some stuff... :)

If I manage that today, I'll work on Olivier's stuff tomorrow and on putting all documents together... I also babysit for Amber tomorrow, so she can visit Marylane -- she's sister in our ward that is completely paralyzed and needs weekly visits from friends and while one person babysits, the other goes and visits with her and so this week is my turn to babysit... :)

Going back to today... In the afternoon -- when Bry gets home from work -- we're going to celebrate my Birthday, which basically will be something totally relaxing like watching a movie on Netflix, opening my present from Bry and Ollie and just chilling'... :)
When I come back from Poland, Bry and his family are going to throw me a Birthday Party, which I'm really looking forward to... :)
When I think about it now, it looks like I'm going to have 3 Birthdays this year... One today, one in Poland and one on September 13th... :) How fun!!! :)

Also, I want to mention that we're having a wonderful weather for cleaning, packing, folding, etc since it's raining and I don't feel sad about not going tanning... :)

Since I have a second or 2... :)

I decided to update my blog a little bit by putting more updated pictures of my little family and by writing about what we're all up to lately...
First of all, I want to say that Bry and I loved new Batman movie that we got a chance to see last Friday... Heath did an excellent job as a Joker and made his character very real, which I totally loved... We'll definitely buy this one on DVD when it comes out... :)
Second of all, I did my hair... My hair is not as light as it was before, because my stylist put some lowlights in it, so my hair looks more natural and you can acctually see that I have highlights in my hair insted of one color all over... I didn't get a cut, because I want to wait and see what my stylist in Poland will say -- she's the best!!! :)

Third of all, I saw my dentist today... Yeah, again -- it starts to be a little bit old... :) But I have only one more visit before my trip, so it's all good... :)
Also, Ollie is working on his dancing moves -- here you can see him in the car -- for no particuliar reason... :) But I love it!!! :)

2 weeks

It looks like I have only 2 weeks left before I fly to Poland and I must admit I'm having mixed feelings about it and I'll explain why... First, I'm sooo excited to be there, spend time with my family and friends, go to elementary school reunion, go to London, go by the Baltic Sea, go to Kazimierz Dolny, go to H&M and my favorite stores, spend my Birthday in there -- that's all great...
But there's also this other side of me asking me over and over again -- will I survive the flight? (yeah, it's like 9h to Frankfurt, Germany then 4h layover and another 2 h fligh followed by 2h drive to Lodz with a 19month old Olivier -- all in all I'm NOT looking forward to it) and then on top of it I'll miss Bry so so much...
So I guess it's always a little bitter sweet flavor in my life... :) Have to love it... :)
But now I'm excited again and sooo happy to go, so I guess I'm more extatic than sad... :) And so so busy... :)

I haven't started packing yet, but am between dentist visits, last minute shopping for Ollie -- I just discovered that most of his clothes are too small -- but I got awesome deals in GAP and Journeys and some in Old Navy, so I guess we're set after all... :) Now all I have to do is just put it all together in one place and see if it's going to fit... :)

I also haven't forgotten about the pool... Olllie and I are there almost every day and he's getting better and better each day in swimming! just look at those movies! :)

It looks like we're taking it super easy... :)
Ollie and I still go to the gym every day or at least 4 days a week and I love it! I'll miss it a LOT when I'm in Poland and think that I'll have to go to the gym a couple of times ate least when I'm there or go jogging or something or I'll go crazy!!! :)

And here's Olivier helping me clean the house from the week before... He's the best helper ever!!! :)

Our days are pretty slow lately... I guess I took vacation from my house chores and so I haven't cleaned the house (deep cleaned) in three weeks now -- it's going to change today -- didn't cook in like two weeks (it has to stop, too) -- yep, Bry and I have been eating out a LOT (no complain there)...

So today I decided to change that circle a little and clean the house... It's the BIG project, since I have Ollie with me (Ollie - Grandma days were cancelled for awhile, since it's way too crazy at Shady AL with 2 grandkids to look after and Grandma Joan not feeling too good lately, but we'll sure miss you) and let me tell you I clean 1 thing and Ollie messes 3 and it goes on and on and on... But it's all good... It'll just take me a little longer, but maybe I'll train Ollie in helping me and doing something constructive... :)

In other news, Olivier's discovered his new favorite food and all he wants to do is just eat it NON STOP... :) Really funny... :)

And off we go to do our chores... :)
If we do it fast, we'll go to the pool later today... :)

VACATION
Olivier and I sure enjoy Bry's time off, since we can finally do things together as a family... :) And so we started very busy and active and now are slowing down a little... :) Tuesday night was a movie night and we saw Hancock
with Will Smith... :)
Wednesday we mostly spent in Galveston on a beach, where Olivier was showing Nadia the ocean and the beach (she's never been on a beach before) and later that afternoon went to lunch in Rainforest Cafe...

... and then spent the evening at Grandma's... :)
Thursday, Bry, Olivier and I went to the Museum of Natural Science and we LOVED it! I can't remember last time we went to the museum (probably while we were living in Warsaw), so I appreciated that time even more... Ollie was behaving really well and LOVED looking at dinosaurs' skeletons, gems/stones section of the museum and definitely he loved pressing the buttons of displays that called for it! :) After the museum we all went to Olive Garden for lunch and when we came home, I went to the pool for a little bit, while Olivier was taking his nap... :)
When I got back, we all headed to Grandma's where Bry and Jeff were playing games and watching Olivier and Nadia, while the girls -- Traci, Melissa and I went to the mall to look at the sales... :)
Today, Bry, Ollie and I went to the breakfast in Mom's ward and then went to the parade that we had in ES and that was tons of fun! Ollie went to the petting ZOO...

... and got to ride on a pony...

... and watch the parade, while sucking on his first lollipop ever... :)

Now he's taking the nap, after which we'll go and see what's up with the rest of the clan... :) And then maybe go and see the fireworks show or something... We'll see! :) But you all have a wonderful 4th of July!!! :)

UPDATE

I survived dentist's visit and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, so that's good... Now I only have three more visits before Poland and then only one or two, so I think I can do it and then switch to an eye doctor... :)

Thursday I got a chance to go to lunch to Panera Bread with Mom, Grandma, Traci, Melissa, Lottie (Mom visit teach her) and Lori (my old VT companion) and it was fun, since I haven't seen them for quite awhile...

Friday was very relaxing for me, because I spent most of the day by the pool and could finally tan without any interruptions from my cute little boy and hang out with some of my friends... :)
The evening was good as well... Bry took me out to the movie theater and later to dinner, which was super nice... :)

Saturday was the day that Bry was home all day and it was so nice. We decided to have missionaries over for breakfast and later took Ollie and Nadia to the pool and here's the outcome... :)

Later that day we went out for dinner with Mom, Dad, Kevin that just got back from the camp, Traci, Jeff, Melissa and the kids... Unfortunately Grandma and Grandpa stayed home, but we brought them some food later... :)

Sunday was a BIG day for us in here... Ollie got to take the sacrament for the very first time and he did GREAT!!! :) My lesson with 9 Sunbeams wasn't nearly as bad as I thought at first and Spain won the Soccer Championship later that afternoon and I did all of my VT in one afternoon and had awesome roast beef dinner with Bry's family and some dancing and playing with kids afterwards... :)

And today I'm back on schedule for the next 2 days and then Bry will have the rest of the week off that we want to spend acively (if there's such a word) and together for a change... :)

Today is and is going to be taugh for me...
First, I went to the gym this morning and took 2 REALLY hard classes one after another ( boot camp and kick boxing) -- to kind of forget about what's about to come -- and let me tell you, it's only 12.23pm and I'm feeling EVERY single muscle of my body... NOT so good...
Later today I'm going to the dentist for a 2.5 hour appointement... NOT so good either, but what can you do... When you have to, you just have to... :)
I hope it's going to go fast and I'll forget about it even faster! :)

When I woke up today at 6.15 am it was pouring and I thought to myself that it was not going to be a good tanning day, but now the sky is beautifully clear and the sun is shining and.... Olivier's asleep, so I'd better go and get ready for the dentist... :)

But before I go, I want to put these 2 movies that I took of Ollie... One shows what he does when I get ready for the gym in the morning and the second one was taken yesterday and shows him and Tessie together... WAY cute... :)

It starts to be my new routine to blog every week and only ONCE a week, but I haven't taken any pictures lately -- eventhough we were up to a lot of things in here -- and I don't like to blog without pictures, but oh well... Happens... :)

First of all, I want to say that it's AMAZING to have Bry home, especially because Ollie got into terrible twos EARLY!!! And because it's nice to always have somebody to talk to and to do fun stuff with, even if we don't have the whole day together for ourselves...

Since Bry's back, we went to the pool in ES and we officially decided that we LOVE that pool, especially the big slide that Ollie adores -- unfortunatelly he's not allowed to go on this one most of the time (it changes depending on which lifeguards are working)...

Bry and Ollie had fun on Grandma's water slide yesterday, especially that they were joined by Jeff and Nadia... :)
It looks like Nadia and Olivier are really good friends and I bet they'll have even more fun with Tess being around... :)

Bry and I also managed to see a new movie this weekend -- Get Smart --that we really liked and are thinking about buying it on DVD... :)

FATHER'S DAY AND
ANOTHER TRIP

Father's day was Bry's last day at home, so we started celebrating early... :)
On Saturday we went to Ikea -- again, I know -- where we got a bookcase for our living room and a couple of other things that we forgot last time...
After that we went to Polonia Restaurant, where we got a platter with a bunch of different stuff as well as my favorite herring... :)
When we got home, Ollie took a nap and Bry and I watched a soccer game on TV -- Greece against Russia (Russia won 1:0) after which I prepeared my lesson for Primary and I think later that night we went to Mom and Dad... :)

Sunday started bright and early for us, since we have church at 8, but before that Bry managed to open his FD presents... :)

After our church we had late breakfast, but we were in no hurry, so we enjoyed it all the way!!! :) We had yummy waffles ( Bry got waffle maker earlier that day)with blueberry syrup and whip cream... :)

After breakfast we all took some naps and later that night went to Mom and Dad's to have some dinner... :)
When we got home and after Ollie went to bed, we folded Bry's clothes and packed his suitcase....
Early today, Bry took off and won't be home till Friday... :(
Ollie spent the day at Grandma's and I was busy all day keeping up with my two dentist appointements and doing my hair (I'll post some pics tomorrow)...
Tomorrow I'm planning to finally get the key to our pool and hopefully be able to take Ollie there, since he LOVED the last time we've been there -- especially the slides... :) But we'll see how it's going to turn out... :)

POLAND
So Bry got tickets for me and Ollie and it looks like we're flying July 31st and come back to the States on September 11th... :)
Which means I'll spend my Birthday in Poland for the first time in 6 years... :)
Which means.... I'll celebrate my B-Day twice this year... Why not?
I think I'll have a party or something when I come back... :)

During my trip there I'm planning to visit my sister in London for a couple of days and also spend 10 days by the Baltic Sea with my Mom, Dad and Ollie...
Probably France won't happen during this trip, because Bry wouldn't be able to come, so I guess we're already having plans for the next trip... :)

I just can't belive how lucky I am!!! And excited at the same time!!! :)

The only downfall is that I missed most of the games of the World Championship in soccer (they suspend it during the summer), but I figured I can always watch re-runs... :)

Other than that we're enjoying warm weather in here and meeting with our friends, which is always fun... :)

And as the last thing for today I want to congratulate my friends their gorgeous baby girl Isabella!!! :)

ANOTHER CRAZY WEEK!

I can't believe that another week is GONE... Maybe it's because we've been SUPER busy in here and I didn't have time to sit and relax up until now and so I kind of missed it... But here's the short recap of our week... :)
The first days of the week, we still had KJ with us, since Mom and Dad were gone and that was a lot of fun, since these were the last days of school for him and he was SUPER excited about that! :)
In the meantime Ollie and I were busy attending pool parties...

... having friends and family over for dinner a couple of times and mostly busy with Ollie "escaping" and avoiding nap time and even bed time, which took place tonight... Olivier learned how to climb out of his crib, open and close the door behind him and hide... I always knew he's a super smart kid but I guess Bry and I need a BREAK from time to time and Ollie's just NOT getting it...

Another new thing that took place this week is that we FINALLY applied for Ollie's passport and he's going to get it in the next three weeks and I'm so excited, since that can mean only one thing... My trip to Poland not only gets more real, but it gets closer and closer each day and I truly just can't wait... :)

Other than that I'm still attending the gym and LOVE every minute of it! I also managed to lose 4lbs during the past two weeks which is really good, because since I started working out I've gained like 12lbs and I know that it's fat turning into muscles, but I just couldn't feel or see any differnece if it comes to clothes fitting better, but I think now, with some healthier and smarter eating, I'm ready to conquer the world! :)

I also finished reading another book and managed to see like 5 movies on Netflix, which took some time... :)
So that's our week... :) Hopefully next week will be a little bit slower... :)

Update...

So Bry is working today... Yeah, another Saturday for him, but it's the last one in a long long time, so I guess, we'll manage... :)

It's also another day in a row that Ollie has problems with his nap and THAT does NOT make me HAPPY!!! :(

But other than that, Kevin and I are having fun... We went to the mall in the morning and had a really good time and now we're just hanging out, waiting for Bry to get home...

Yesterday was pretty unevenful, too, with 3 small exceptions...
1. At the gym I was asked by Jeff to be on a cover of a magazine... As I told him no, laughing it off, I didn't ask him WHAT magazine or all the details, but I think it was still nice and interesting...
2. As I put all of the groceries in the trunk of the car and opened the door with the key -- the remote didn't want to work -- the alarm went off and the only way to shut it off, was to make the remote work... After 10/15min. of "working" on it, I left WalMarts' parking lot pretty tired...
3. As Olivier was "asleep" in his crib upstairs -- he refused to take his nap, so I guess I should say that he was "pretendeing" to be asleep -- I went to the car through the garage door to put his stroller in a car, just in case we went somewhere afterwards... When I got back home and opened the door, Olivier was standing right there, smiling... I seriously jumped up and thought I was going to have a heart attack...
As I later discovered, Ollie managed to leave his crib, open the door, close them behind him, go downstairs and FIND me... SCARY!!! :)
So, that was my yesterday... :)

Just a quick update on what we're up to in here... We had an amazing Memorial Day Weekend!
First, my really good friend came to visit and it was so nice to finally be able to talk to her. She had a chance to meet Ollie and see what kind of boy he is... :)
We also went to YW Silent Auction Dinner and later on to see a movie What Happens in Vegas. Sunday we had church and soon after that it was time for her to head back home to SA... :( It was a short visit, but at the same time I'm grateful I had a chance to see her... :)

Monday morning started kind of slow, since Kevin (he stayed in our place foe the night) and I stayed up late watching movies, but Bry was on top of things... He went and got us some breakfast -- doughnuts and kolaches, so I wouldn't have to worry about that... :)
Then Ollie brushed Kevin's teeth...

...and we went to Mom and Dad to spend the rest of the day swimming, having grill, tanning and swimming some more... And that's what we did... :)

Yesterday Bry went back to work and I tried to stay on top of the things that acctually ended up being another very relaxing day for me and Ollie... I went to the gym and after that went swimming and tanning, while Ollie was taking his super long nap...
Later on that day Mom made awesome dinner and since it was Ollie's night time, I went home with him and Bry went to church for some meatings.
Mom, Dad and Kevin went to his choir concert and I hope I'm going to hear more about it today...

Now I'm working on the laundry and trying to survive through the day with the super busy boy named Olivier... :)

In other news, Bry got home on Thursday and I went to the airport all by myself for the first time (my, my -- little things that make you proud of yourself) and I did GREAT!!! I thought I was lost a couple of time, but I wasn't and made it there... :)
After picking him up from the airport, we went to Olive Garden and later that night we were invited by Kevin and Dad to the movie theater to see new Indiana Jones that was figting UFO -- what's up with THAT??? Since WHEN Indy has ANYTHING to do with aliens??? Oh well... But other than that, the movie was really well made and actors were good, so I guess, the movie is it's still worth watching... :)

Other than that Bry and I stay pretty busy unpacking boxes in the garage, mowing the lawn and getting ready for my friend's visit... Becky comes today and stays with us till tomorrow's afternoon and I'm so excited, since I haven't seen her for like 2 years or so and we have a LOT of catching up to do... :)

Also tonight we're planning to go to YW Silent Auction and help them raise some money for the summer camp and I think this might be fun... :)

But I'll better run and finish cleaning... :)

Oh, and here's Ollie and his Dad's shoes for a change... :)

OLIVIER'S UPDATE

Since I didn't post it last week, I guess I have to do it this week and so here are the stats... Ollie's weight is: 24.15; height: 34 and head circ.: 18 1/4...

Not bad at all... :)
He also got 2 vaccines: Hepatitis A and Measles... The second one wasn't needed, but when I told Ollie's doctor that we might be in France this summer, he decided to give him this one as well... :) Ollie was NOT, I repeat WAS NOT happy about that... Oh well, happens, I guess... :)

Now, all I have to do, is to try this motion sickness medicine on him and see if it works... (I don't want to be stuck with Olivier on a plane for 13 hours without it)

Other than that Bry's coming home tomorrow and Ollie and I can hardly wait!!! :)
It's going to be nice to have father figure at home again... :)

On the other note, yesterday I was invited to a party and we all made beautiful sign Family Is Forever for our house...

BIRTHDAY
BRIDGE DAY AND
NAMEDAY...

This weekend was pretty busy for us in here... Bry got Friday off and so on Thursday evening we went to the Movie Theater and saw What Happens in Vegas and we both liked it... A LOT!!! :)

Friday was Bry's B-Day, so we started it with the small breakfast in bed and invitation to the IHOP -- his favorite breakfast place... :)
The next stop was Apple store, where Bry got mouse for his laptop that he really wanted to get... Then we went to IKEA with Mom and Dad to get some ideas on how to make our office/guest room...

When we got home, missionaries came by to wish Bry Happy Birthday and after their visit we headed to Applebee's for Bry's B-Day dinner... :)
When we got home, we just watched TV and talked about what we wanted to do the next day that happened to be the bridge day - the day between Bry's Birthday and my Nameday....

Saturday morning we drove to IKEA again and found out that it was not open till 10, so we decided to go to Polish store that was close by and where I got the best hering in mustard sauce EVER!!! :)
Then we hit IKEA store and loaded three carts of stuff that we needed for our room and headed back home, where as soon as we got there, we started putting things together... When we were done -- in record time of 2.5 hours -- we went to Mom and Dad's place where we got late Birthday cake for Bry... :)
And here are the pictures of the room... :) We still need to accessorize it, but we'll do it overtime, I guess... :)

Sunday -- my Nameday -- we were burned out and so we took it super easy, taking naps and just relaxing... :)

Today Bry's on business trip and Ollie and I already miss him... :( But hopefully we'll somehow survive till Thursday... :)

My days with Ollie are so much fun... I think we know each other opretty well by now and so we know what we can expect, although, I have to admit that Ollie keeps surprising me... :)
Like today, for example, by putting on my shoes and trying to walk in them... As soon as I saw him doing that, I remembered that my friend's baby boy Gavin used to do the same thing and so I took these two videos of Ollie, as a tribute to Gavin... :)

In other happenings I had an opportunity to attend the funeral yesterday... A father of one of the sisters that I visit teach passed away last week and so I wanted to be there for her... It was really interesting for me... And let me explain why... First of all, it was the first funeral that I attended after my Grandpa's -- it's been three years and let me tell you, time flies way too fast for me, because it still feels like it was yesterday...
Second of all, it was the first funeral that I attended in the US and thirdly, it's still amazing to me how funerals can put everything in perspective... There's something majestic about them... Everything seems so quiet, calm and that gives you sort of a feeling of peace... At least to me...

Other than that I'm going to visit a paralyzed sister from our ward tomorrow and I'm happy to do that, since she's really cool... :)
Also, I'm going to Olivier's doctor on Thursday for a 18 month check up and on top of that I'm planning a Birthday for my hubby... :)
So I'm pretty busy... But happy... :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

I don't know about you, but I'm having a wonderful
Mother's Day weekend so far... :)
Yesterday I had a chance to go downtown H. with two of my friends (one of them had a Birthday a couple of weeks ago and we didn't get the chance to celebrate it with her, so we took her out for dinner and combined it with MD celebration) to Hugo's Mexican Restaurant, where the food was pretty different and amazing... They even served deep fried grasshopers as an appetizer!!! (I didn't have enough caurage to go for it) I just settled for steak tacos and I was really happy with my choice... I think I might take Bry there for a steak... :)

After dinner we went to the small caffeteria and had desserts... Also very yummy... And the best part was, there were NO kiddos... :)

And today, as soon as I woke up, I got MD presents -- I got three beautiful dresses and eventhough Bry ordered them online, they fit GREAT and iTunes card that I needed so bad!!!
Then Bry took care of Ollie during church and made AMAZING dinner afterwards... Am I lucky and spoiled or what? :)
Later, after Olivier's nap, we went to church again to listen to Kevin's talk that was really good... :)
Now we're just relaxing and hanging out... And in an hour or so, we'll go to Bry's Family and we'll celebrate MD there... We have little something something planned... :)

HIM TURNING 18 MONTHS AND

Monday was a little slower for us in here... Ollie and I went to the gym, I did laundry and later that night we were all invited to Mexican Restaurant close by to say our goodbyes to Traci that was leaving the next morning... She also was in charge of FHE, so we all went and had fun with charades and drawing activities... Ollie also had fun showing us how to dance... :)

Tuesday started slow, too, but it didn't last for loooong... :) After the gym and Ollie's nap, my friends came by with their little ones... :) Carson and Ollie were so funny, because they wanted to play with the same toy at the same time, so Cami and I had to make them take turns... But when twins Summer and Kylee joined the fun, they seemed ok... :)

Today, after the gym I started deep cleaning our downstairs and I love how our fridge looks like now and kitchen floor... :)
After dinner, Bry and I are planning to go to the Apple store, so Bry can get something for his presentation at work and show me what things he wants to get for his Birthday that is coming in a couple of weeks... :) I also hope I'll be able to clean everything upstairs, so tomorrow I'll be able to enjoy my Ollie free day even more... :)
On the other note -- just a little different, Ollie just turned 18 months yesterday and so Bry, Olivier and I celebrated this big day at Culwer's... I really LOVE their icecream!!! :) As soon as I take Ollie to the doctor for his check up, I'll ut the stats in here and we'll see the progress... :)

Another thing that has happened lately, was... Yeah... I can finally see some herbs coming out... It's so exciting to see something grow that you planted... :)
