Traci stopped by today and that's what she brought...
A cute Jamporoo!!!
Bry put it together really fast and Ollie could enjoy it, while I could have a little break... :)

You might ask: "Break from what?"
Well, there's an easy answer to that...
Yesterday morning I was working out and after I came home I took care of the boy, so Bry could study before his class and then I got a phonecall from Jenni (from work), asking me to cover for her, since her cat Tommy was almost dying and vet was not able to tell what was wrong... So I did cover for her and went to work at 3.45, just right after Bry came home from school...
When I got off at 9.30pm, feeling really tired, Bry announced that he was sick (flu) and that's why he let Ollie sleep quite a lot, while I was gone, which meant only one thing for me... NOT THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!! And so it wasn't!
Plus, I slept in Olivier's room, so I wouldn't catch that stomach flu...
And in the morning - 6.45 I left for the gym, since Bry felt better! :)
Then I had Visiting Teaching and... another day is gone!!! :)
It's good tomorrow I can sleep longer in the new, clean and fresh covers... :)

I DID IT!!!
Today at 4.15 I had an appointement with carole - my stylist and she dyed my hair... So, as of today, I'm no longer a blonde...
I'm a cute brunette!!! :)

OK! So I went to check Mom's blog and read about this game and she challanged me... So here it goes... Next to me was the Indiana Driver Manual, but it doesn't have 123 pages, so it can't count and then I saw Bry's Black's Law Dictionary and HELLO - it's SUPER boring, so I cheated a little and went to the closest bookshelf and grabbed a book that was not in polish...
And here it goes... :)

Umberto Eco
The Name of the Rose
"William had indoubtedly been insinuating, had tried to say to him, that there was little difference between his mystic (and orthodox) faith and the distorted faith of the heretics. Ubertino had taken offense, as one who saw the difference clearly. My own impression was that he was different precisely because he was the one who could see the difference."

I tag Juliana, Natasha, my Mom and Olivier... :)

I LOVE Sundays... And it's not only because I feel the spirit and I go to church, we have nice dinner and Bry and I can relax and spend some time together, but also because I go to PRIMARY... :)

Today I taught about the sun, moon and stars being a part of day and night created by Jesus... You can see our little cut - outs behind me on the door... :)

FACES....

Ollie is starting to show his different sides and his personality... His facial expressions are hillarious, so after church as Bry and I were waiting for our home teachers, he took my camera and started taking pictures...
That's how it turned out... :)

Ollie loves to have his hands in his mouth and puts more and more objects (toys, blankets, burp cloths, my hands, my clothes...) in his mouth as well.... One day he thought he can stick his whole fist in it, too... Pretty funny... :)

As you can all tell, his little curl is still there... :)

I think this picture is SUPER funny... And don't get any bad ideas in your head, he's perfectly fine, it's just his cute little face and me joking around... :)

Time for excercising... :)

And close capturing... :)

My boy is finally asleep and taking his nap...
I'm seriously considering calling his doctor to find out what's going on, since lately (for the past 3 days) he's acting differently and by that I mean CRYING a lot more, for no particular reason...
Is it an ear infection? Or something else? Or nothing at all?
He doesn't have a fever and is sleeping through the night, is happy when we play with him and give him full attention but as soon as we lay him down he starts to SCREAM, so maybe I'm just overprotective parent?

Besides me being super busy, nothing new...
I made breadsticks, after reading Natasha's blog, where I read about her making cinnamon sugar breadsticks, which I've never tried. And I got in trouble for that... :)
Why?
Because as soon as I read it on Natasha's blog, I ran to Bry and told him about it, being SUPER excited about the whole idea!!!
And then Bry reminded me, which I couldn't remember at all, that he has suggested it a couple of months ago and I said: "Neh, it won't work."
But as you can see, no pictures of the breadsticks here, because we ate them as soon as we took them out of the oven, burning our precious fingers... :)

No funny stories from RS Building today... At least not yet (I'm going there tonight, since I'll miss Saturday stepII class with Jonathan AKA Increase Intensity)... So we'll see... :)

As for right now I'm thinking SPRING... The snow melted almost all the way and although it's been a little dirty outside, the air and sun makes up for it... So I guess it's good!
I love springtime and I'm looking forword to it every year!
And it's not only because of the weather, but mainly because of a
NEW EVERYTHING ATTITUDE!

This spring I'll welcome with the new figure - no dramatic weight loss yet, since I'm still working on it, but I can say I've lost 9lbs so far and my fat jeans are getting looser and looser, which is always a good sign, so I'm excited about that!!! Maybe it's not that much, some might say, but I'm super proud of myself, because I stayed super consistent plus I know that no yo - yo will happen, which is AWESOME!!! :)

Secondly, spring always brings new colors in fashion, which only means one thing.... SHOPPING...
That ALWAYS cheers me up, no matter what! :)

Thirdly, it means it's time to change my hair color - this one dramatically, I think... :)

Then it's only more reasons to be happy...
Trip to Florida with Bryan and Disneyworld! :) Can't wait!!!
Easter, which Bry, Ollie and I'll spend together - first time 3 of us... How cool is that?
Walks with Ollie (longer and more fun, since he's older), my favorite tulips, green trees, sun and no more warm clothes... :)

It also brings one sad thing... Moving out...
Good bye Bloomington, place that I will never forget, place that I was truly happy at, place full of wonderful and special people, that will always have a special place in my heart... (me "inking" hard now)

It's so good to have friends that you can laugh with... And have a really good time with...
This kind of person is Juliana... And the story is as follows... :)

As every morning, Juliana and I work out hard to lose some extra pounds that we've gained during the past year... Me 7-8.30 and Juliana 7-8, since she has to take a shower and get ready for work.
Today wasn't different at all...
After my work out I went downstairs where the locker area was and I was prepared to see Juliana all dressed up, working on her hair or make-up, but not today!!!
Juliana was nowhere to be found, except for her work out bag and shoes and a lock on the banch in front of her locker...
Then, there was a thought in my head: "She's still taking a shower."
And another one: "How about I'll hide her bag and lock so she can't get into her locker and she'll freak out that someone stole her bag?"

I LOVED the idea, except for I knew I wouldn't see her face when she realizes the bag is gone...
Without giving it another thought, I hid the bag and myself, waiting for Juliana.
A minute or two later I heard her flip flops as she walked towords her locker and then...
NOTHING!!!
She was trying to open her locker, not remembering the combination, or not realizing that her bag was missing...
I started feeling disappointed... :(

But I didn't give up and waited until I heard her panicked voice asking another girl if she saw her work - out bag that was just stolen...

I smiled or laughed (I don't remember which one came first) and showed up and Juliana started laughing with me... :)

Funny.... Really funny!
I wonder what she's going to do to get me... :)

If you want to find out about Juliana's side of the story go to

AND ENJOY... :)

It's been awhile since my last post, but let me explain myself...
After Bry and I came back from Chicago, there's been a lot of stuff going on...
On Friday I had my step class, as any other week, and then I rushed to work, where I spend all afternoon and evening and when I got home, Bry made a romantic dinner for two of us, while Ollie was asleep in his little crib, looking as adorable as possible...

Then came Saturday, which was full of events as well...
First, my step class, and then getting ready and work.
After that though, Bry, Traci, lori, Ollie and I went to my favorite restaurant - Longhorn Steakhouse, where I had salmon with baked potato and salad... Yummy! :)
The whole eating process, including waiting for half an hour, took us about 2.5, so when we got home, Ollie was dead tired and had to go to bed IMMEDIATELY!!!

Today, as you all know, was Sunday, so again I had to wake up early to make sure I had plenty of time to get ready and be all dolled up...
Primary made me tired and then Ollie didn't feel like sleeping at all, so he was fussy and not happy, not mentioning the fact that he wants to be held by me or Bry ONLY 24/7... CRAZY!!!

But, on the positive note, I love being a mom, taking care of my little boy, making sure he has everything he needs...
I love watching him grow and change each day...
And I love being this hot, cute mommy that I always wanted to be... :)

And then there's this thought that just popped in my head... Is it all because I have GOOD NIGHT SLEEP??? :)

Thursday, February 15, 2007

I just had to post something today, because I had an amazing time in Chicago!
I really love this city. It's big and it's alive...
It's full of people rushing somewhere all the time and that's why it reminds me of Warsaw and makes me homesick...

This picture was taken on Wednesday, as Bry and I were leaving downtown of Chicago...

These two pictures were taken today (Thursday), while Bry was taking his test...
In the first picture - on the right - you can see Trump's Tower being built and the Chicago River - in the middle... :)

That's Michigan Street, where on both sides you can find different stores and what is really unique - all of them are 2-3 stories ones...
I even found H&M, where I spent 2 hours just browsing and looking for cool stuff, which I found and bought (that was part of my Valentine's Day present)...
Unfortunately, I didn't make it to all other awesome stores - Forever 21 or Urban Outitters or Museums that I was interested in (Bry's test took only 4 hours and parking in Chicago is ridiculously expensive - $28 for 4h), but I'll make sure next time I'll spend more time in this gorgeous city! :)

Also, for our Valentine's Day, Bry took me to the restaurant. It wasn't what we really wanted (Chili's), but it was close to our hotel and since we had to get up early and leave early for Bry's test to miss some of the traffic (which we didn't really and so we spent over 2 hours in it and got a little late, which was BAD), so it worked for us... :) Plus we're planning on going to Longhorn Steakhouse anyways, so I didn't care that much... :)

The weather in Bloomington is horrible... It was snowing a little yesterday and then it started raining.... Right now everything's freezing, so I hope it won't be bad on the roads tomorrow...
And it's for a couple of reasons...
First, Juliana and I are going to work out tomorrow morning - as usual...
Secondly, Bry and I are going to Chicago for Valentine's Day... How romantic! It's just two of us and I bet we're going to have an amazing time! :)
(if anyone's interested, Olivier's staying with his two super protective aunts and the dog named Tess Leah, so he's set) :)

Going back to what was going on in the past couple of days, since I didn't post anything yesterday....

Today, Ollie and I were hanging out, having a LOT of fun, because he starts to focus a LOT more on things and he's such a good little boy, I can't put in words.
He sleeps for 10-11.5 hours at night, giving me and Bry a good night sleep and rest, which is awesome and then during the day, he plays and laughs ALL THE TIME!!!
It can't get any better than that! :)

Monday went by so fast, I can't even recall everything that happened, besides the standart things I do... Morning - working out, getting ready for the day, spending a lot of time with Ollie, watching TV and welcoming Lori in Indiana... It's so nice to have her here!
Evening - working out - this time I made it to a Ballet Fit Class and it wasn't as good as I expected and hoped for, but the work out was really good and I was able to watch some TV with Lori after I came back... (The Hills, Dancelife) :)

And that's the pic of little Ollie trying to hold his bottle while he eats!!! :) Pretty cute! :)

DADDY AND ME

That's how Bry and Ollie spent time together...
Olivier loves to be the center of attention, so he was pretty happy at this point! :)
Later on he got a little fussy, but oh well, after sleeping almost 10 hours at night, no one cared about it anyways... :)
Yes, prayesr ARE answered! :)

Saturday, February 10, 2007

So...
I missed my post yesterday and it's actually really frustrating...
First, I didn't have ANYTHING to write about, because I was just sitting at home taking care of Ollie, while Bry was at his meeting at school and trying to recover after LONG night with Olivier (for the past 3 nights, he's decided to wake up twice each night, which drives me and Bry insane)...

And then, everything started being hectic and chaotic....
Bry got home.
We got package from Mom for Valentine's Day, so I thought that it would be a perfect post, especially when I take some cute pictures of Ollie unwrapping his present (which I did - look underneath) but...

Right that moment I realized that I have only 2 hours before I go to work and I'm in a horrible mess, so I started getting ready, and since it was my first day back, I wanted to look super cute, so it took me awhile... :)
When I got home, I couldn't believe how tired I was, so I went straight to bed, without posting anything... :(
And today, yeah what about today?
Another LONG night, so when Juliana called me and woke me up, I was grateful, because thanks to her I didn't miss my step class and I was able to work my abs and do some cardio! :)
As soon as my class was over, I rushed home to get ready for work - day 2! :)
When I got home, Bry was so sweet and grabbed some dinner from Bajio's and let me choose the movie for our movie night (I chose The Devil Wears Prada)...
Now, I sit by the computer and my system's shut down, so I'd better go to bed and get some sleep before Ollie wakes up...
Or maybe I should pray for a good night?

Thursday, February 08, 2007

It's so hard to believe, but that's what Bry brought home today from the store (Kroger)...
That was SUPER sweet !!! :)
And way cool... :)

And that's what I did with my doughnuts, after I came home, after my swimming work out...
I was really bad...
But I have no regrets whatsoever! :)

Wednesday, February 07, 2007

So today Ollie got a little present from Nadia...
At first he didn't know what to think about his new Tigger jumper...

But then he started figuring everything out...

And he enjoyed it...

A LOT!!! :)

Tuesday, February 06, 2007

It's hard to believe but Olivier is 3 months old as of today...
Pretty cool! :)

That's how much snow we got today in Bloomington...
It started snowing at 10am and stopped around 3pm, so it wasn't as bad as everybody else thought - it was supposed to snow all day and night, but our Pursuit of Excellence Activity was cancelled anyways... :)

Yesterday, just right after I posted pictures on my blog, I went to a hip - hop dance class with my friend and that's what I saw when I came home 2 hours later...
Really interesting... :)
Bry and Ollie love to surprise me a LOT!!! :)
That's why I had to take new pictures today to update my blog... :)

Monday, February 05, 2007

And here, are the pictures of our living - room....
And Olivier hanging out in his cradle... :)

Sunday, February 04, 2007

It's crazy how some days are sooo uneventful, that there's almost nothing to write, while other days are way toooo busy...

Saturday started, as any other Saturday, with the trip to Recreational Sports Bulding, where me and juliana attended step class, after which I could hardly move - that means I got an awesome work out!!! :)

When I got home, Bry, Ollie and I decided to rearrange our living - room completely.
Ollie was measuring things, making sure we're doing everything the right way... :)
(I got work out #2 that day)

He got this cute smile almost the whole time...
But then he got a little bored with us and started watching The Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man's Chest on Bry's iPod.
Because we took forever trying to figure out how to make everything work. Plus Bry and I started getting tired. At this point we were kind of discouraged by the fact we were stuck in this one point not knowing what we should do and being really close to putting everything the way it was...

Bry and I took forever and then we were at the breaking point, because we had no clue what to do in order to make it work...
Plus Bry and I started getting tired...
Finally, the perfect idea came and we moved on.
The living - room looks great and there's room for Ollie's playard, which means he's not sleeping with us anymore!!!
I'll post some pictures later... :)
Now he's big (Today at church I talked to my friend and saw her little boy in her arms, looking smaller that Olivier, I asked her how old he was and she said 6 months. I guess, no comment is necessary!) enough to sleep in his own crib!
Plus, for the past 2 nights he slept for about 8 hours, without waking us up!!!
Yes, finally he sleeps through the night! :)
Also, when Traci came by, that's what I saw... :)

Then it was grocery shopping and when we finally got home, I was too tired to turn on the computer...
Today I got the new calling (I'm no longer in the Enrichment Comitee) and there's a really cool story to it...
A week ago Juliana told me that she got called as a Primary Teacher and that 2nd Councelor asked her if she knew someone who would teach with her, because they needed 1 more person. Juliana thought about me, but decided not to say anything, because I have Olivier and he needs constant attention.
When I heard that I was like: "Why didn't you say anything? Now you have to call him and let him know that I would love calling like that! He's going to pray about it anyways and if I'm not the right person, I won't be called and I'll know that it was not meant to be." And I said that I would pray about it as well...
So, as I came to to church today and saw Juliana, I wanted to remind her about the calling, but at the same moment 2nd Councelor approached me and asked if he could talk to me....
The rest of the story is as follows....
I'm a Sunbeam Teacher! :)
And the best part is, that Juliana didn't talk to him at all!!! :)
It was just meant to be! And I love it... :)
On top of it Indiana won the Championship in Football!
And I talked to Julie for almost an hour and it's so cool to be able to talk to someone that is close to you about everythingf or such a long time, without wierd silent moments...
It definitely made my day!
I love my friends! :)

Friday, February 02, 2007

Today my post will be super short, since I'm tired and there's nothing really to report...
Except for a couple of things...

I just realized that I've been blogging for 5 months now and it's the longest I've ever kept my journal for... That's pretty cool! :)

Besides that my step class was really good.
I didn't eat a lot of unhealthy food or a lot in general for that matter.
I got new work out shoes (lucky me). :)

Thursday, February 01, 2007

I just started thinking about how important other people around us are and how big influence they have... Most of the time, they just don't realize it, but we observe them, listen to them and learn new things that we apply into our lives later...
At least I'm that way.
For example, every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I watch my friend - she's super cute - getting ready for work after the gym, washing and styling her hair (not only drying it but using flat iron and curling iron) and putting make - up on under 1 hour, which impresses me so much! So what do I do? I get home and do the same thing.
I watch my cell phone and try doing everything super fast... And it works! :)
Another example?
I read your blogs and see how motivated you are in cooking, making layouts, blogging every day, being great moms and what do I do? I try doing the same thing...
Spend time with Olivier, being grateful for every moment I get.
Try to cook or at least plan what we're going to eat...
And I think that's amazing how we're always trying to get better in something and imrove our lives by watching, listening and learning... :)
Thank you!!!

On the other note, I'd better go and get ready for swimming and putting Ollie to bed, after giving him a soothing bubble bath... :)
