So today was long, very long and I'm really exhausted. I don't get that much sleep at night (eventhough Ollie slept tonight for 7.5 hours straight) and zero sleep during the day, because there's so much stuff to do!

First, I wake up at 5.45 and go pumping, which takes me about 40 minutes. When I pump, I read Book of Mormon or Teachings of Presidents of the Church - Spencer W. Kimball and as soon as I'm done, I get ready for gym - super fast, because i don't have that much time, since I'm leaving at 6.45...

I come home around 9am and it's already time to pump and to play with Olivier - by then he's wide awake and happy and soooo much fun, but when we're done reading books or singing, he eats and takes his nap...

That's the time for me to get ready - take a shower, eat breakfast and basically when I'm done, he's ready to play, so I have to play with him and clean a little bit, after the night... :)

Then there's another nap, but I'm running late with my pumping, so I do it and squeeze in some TV... Or when I'm lucky, some internet - playing online games with my mom or other people. Sometimes I get to talk to my sister, which is nice...

Bry comes home from his classes and we talk but the boy gets more and more needy and tired and not happy, so he needs a lot more attention, which is hard...

I get some time off, so I'm trying to post something on my blog and read other people blogs or myfamily web site and do nails or other things that I couldn't do before...
Or we go grocery shopping, or doing laundry or tons of other stuff that needs to be done! :)

Around 7pm, I'm almost dead but I know that Ollie's bath time is close and after that it's only food, diaper and good night little one...
It works as long as there are no complications like gas problems... :)

Then Bry and I read Scriptures and watch some TV, or just play chess...
And I pump again... :)

I'm in bed around 11pm...

And Bry wakes up at night, which is sooo sweet! So I can sleep!

And the next day it's the same story...

But believe it or not, I LOVE busy days like that! They don't feel wasted or gone and there's always something to look forward to! And that's the beauty of it! :)
Each day is different and I'm so happy at where I'm at with my life! :)
I would never switch with anyone! :)

And that's my little boy after the bath, in little shorts and hoodie. He looks like he's in the spa salon... :)

Today Ollie and I (after I came back from gym) were just chillin'...
I put in the cd that Ollie got from dr Brewer and we sang along some songs and lullabys.
Ollie loved it and we both had an amazing time together! :)

He also starts to put things in his mouth and check them out with his tongue...

And that's why he sticks it out ALL THE TIME!!! He looks so cute! :)

He also starts to pay a lot more attention to what's going on around him...
He doesn't like to sit by himself - he gets really upset - that's why he misses his grandmas...

On top of it Bry woke up only once with Ollie last night, which was really nice, so hopefully he sets new sleeping record tonight - more than 6 hours... :)
But we'll see... :)

Today, as planned, started really early for me, but it was good. I managed to go to everyone's blogs that I love to read so much, play online yahtzee with my mom, spend some time with Traci, Bry and Ollie, who wasn't too happy today, but he's slowly falling asleep as I write it on my blog, so it's good after all!!! :)

And that's how I try to remember my little boy after long days like today... :)

Activities of the day:
* Making Ollie's hand and footprints in the mold
* Babysitting for Carolyn (that I totally forgot about - tell me something new and something that I didn't know about)
* Family Home Evening (a little bit lame, but still, Bry and I did our best with the crying Olivier and interrupted by me forgetting about babysitting)
* Reading the scripturesn as a family (Bry and I)
* Finding my red glove

And the story of a lost red glove is as follows...
Last Thursday I decided to wear my cute red vest that I got from Bry for Christmas - early present - as I went to work out at the gym and on top of it I decided to stick my favorite red leather gloves in the pockets, knowing that I should not trust those pockets, since I lost a couple of items before, but thinking that gloves will stay there...
Well, I was wrong...
One glove decided to slip out of the pocket and see how it is to live without me...
I looked everywhere. I announced missing red glove at Relief Society - I had the Enrichment Comitee Meeting at church earlier that night - I checked at the gym - lockers and lost and found box and my glove was nowhere to be found.
Although I almost lost my hope to find it, I still believed that it might be waiting somewhere for me and as I walked to gym today, I had this feeling inside, telling me to go again to lost and found area and ask again...
And so I did.
And so my glove was found, having good laugh at me.
And so my red leather gloves were reunited!!! :)

Saturday passed by really fast, even too fast...
First, I went and worked out and then Bry went and did some grocery shopping, while Ollie and I got all the laundry ready.
When Bry came home we started loading the car and went to Traci's apartment to do laundry and hang out with the lonely puppy - Tess, who was NOT a good puppy that day (she chewed on Ollie's rattle and his bottle's cap, not mentioning stealing socks and small towels from the laundry baskets)! :)
Laundry took us a lot of time, because at 9 we were still not ready, so Bry and Ollie went home, while I was working on it and on the poster that I had to make for
The Pursuit of Excellence Activity that we'll have in two weeks in my ward...
When I was done with all the work (it was around 11.30pm) I went home...
Ollie and Bry were both asleep and soon I was asleep, too...

To my surprise I woke up super early today, without feeling worn out or tired and got ready super fast as well, so that was awesome!
I managed to take some pictures of Ollie with his little Book of Mormon as well...

This face says: "Can we go now?"

Here, Ollie's showing everybody his favorite verse in the scriptures... :)

And here, he's telling us all about it, being very smart at the same time... :)
Afterthe church, I cooked (crock pot did) roast beef with vegetables, potatoes with gravy, rolls and Bry worked on the cake and we all (including Traci that visited us after her church) enjoyed our Sunday...
And tomorrow... Yeah, tomorrow starts at 5.45 for me... :)

Today was a really busy day for me - another one...
I had a little lazy morning and Bry let me sleep in with Olivier in the bed but when I woke up that was it...
I got ready as fast as I could and went for the stepII class and as I was going upstairs to get in the SR building and wanted to pull my shirt down I pulled my pants down instead (it's really good I had leggins underneath and nothing bad happened, plus I had no witnesses of that incident whatsoever - at this point) so I was trying to find my shirt really fast and as I was running late for my class I didn't pay enough attention to the stairs and I fell down...
Pretty embarassing, let me tell you... But soooo funny at the same time.... :)
The not so funny part was that I scraped myself a little... :)

Then during the class I could not focus - not because of my accident - and was messing up all the figures, so my trainer tried to help me out after class and it was pretty interesting that when she asked me where I was from - I didn't get upset or I didn't make up the story for that matter - and I told her, she.... started.... speaking.... polish!!!
Now, how amazing is that! :) Yes, she's polish and she and her husband live in Bloomington...

So, after all, everything happens for a reason!!! :)

After the class, Bry, Olivier and I went to Applebees for lunch and it was sooo good and I guess tireing, because after we got home,
my 2 boys fell dead asleep... :)

After the long nap, Bry went to the store to get some snacks for our movie night and to rent a movie "Click" and Ollie hang out with me... :)

Now, Ollie's about to go to bed, after eating another 6oz bottle of milk and Bry and I are going to watch a movie and relax...
Because tomorrow is going to be another really busy day for me... :)

SCHEDULE

So I figured my work out schedule and I think it's going to work for me.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays - gym 7-8am, sometimes 6-8 if I want to go to cyclefit class.
Tuesday evening (5pm) - yoga class.
Thursday evenings (8.15-9.30) swimming.
Fridays and saturdays - stepII...
I guess, I'll be pretty busy... :)
But I'm really excited for it! :)

Monday, January 22, 2007

Today was my last visit at the doctor Brewer's office... It feels really weird, because I used to see him every week and then, all of the sudden, it stopped...

But today we had a chance to show Ollie off and he was quite a hit! :)
First, the secretary took a picture of him and then I decided to take one of Ollie and dr Brewer, since we didn't take one when he was born... So now, I can have a good scrapbook page...
If only I had time... :)

Ollie also got a present - cute lullaby cd and a book.
He'll have some memories, which is really good... :)
Acctually, all of us... :)

SNOWY INDIANA

Looks like we got some snow after all... it started snowing last night at 12am and when we went to church that's how Bloomington looked like!
Pretty cool! The first snow this year! :)
I knew there was something to be excited about - Yesterday i didn't know what it was, but today it was pretty clear... I love snow!!! :)

Here are my 2 boys after we came home from church...
Happy... (Ollie was yawning)

And the funny story of the day...
After the Sunday School, Bry left for his Priesthood lesson, leaving me and asleep Ollie in the RS room. And then as I was sitting I realized that I haven't done my visiting teaching for the month and as I was thinking about it a little bit more, I got anxious to talk to my companions to set up a meating... Plus I kenw that if I postpone it by telling myself later, it will never happen, so without giving it a second thought I went to nursery room, where Sandrine was and on the way there i saw Bryan talking to my second VT companion - Samye -and as I approached them Bry looked at me and asked: "Ola, where's the baby?"...
Well, good question....
Answer: Asleep in the RS room, where his forgetful mother has left him...
On my behalf, I must say that Bry and I had a really tough night with him, waking up almost every hour for feedings and diapers...

If it comes to my VT.. Well, we already did it on Tuesday, during our Pursuit of Excellence meeting...

Also I forgot that it was Grandma's Day in Poland and as I called my mom today I didn't mention anything about it...
And tomorrow's The Granpa's day that I'll make sure I won't forget...

But the question remains...
Is there something wrong with my brain?

Saturday, January 20, 2007

So.... I went to SR building today for a step II class and it was soooo good! I loved it!
I'll definitely be back next week and the week after.... :)
Also i took a schedule and i think I want to try jazz - pop dance class and maybe yoga/pilates as well... Balet sound great, too! We'll see... :) I don't want to do too many classes but at the same time I feel I should do it for fun... :) And to lose some extra baby weight, since i don't have too much of a success in this field! :)

Besides that Bry and I cleaned (again) and our apartment looks really good and clean, so I'm super happy today! And energetic, not tired at all...

I'm also excited for tomorrow for some reason. I don't have any specific plans but I'm just happy to go to church, make really good food, talk to my mom and relax... Well, sounds like I have some plans for tomorrow after all... :)

What a day...
I just realized that Ollie finally managed to get me and let me explain how....
I was just getting him ready for a bath and all of the sudden I felt something wet on me, which kept coming... Before I realized what that was and covered Ollie, it was basically too late!
Bry kept laughing and thought it was hillarious - especially my facial expression... :)
So summerizing Ollie got me, his grandpa Tony (in Texas) and my mom (my mom got showered on a various occasions)...
His daddy got lucky, but not really, because I still remember his whole shirt, hands, pants and carpet in poop... :) That was probably my favorite daddy moment of all... :)

And that's my innocent baby boy... :)

On the other note, Bry got an A, which is really amazing and cool.
I'm so proud of my not that innocent guy... :)
P.S. TGI Friday's didn't turn out as good as I thought it would, but my date was GREAT!!! :)

Thursday, January 18, 2007

What a fun day today...
It started really late for me, because Bry let me sleep in till 10 or something...
Then I was totally lazy getting ready, but after I did, I decided to take some of the bread ollie made yesterday to a friend, who happens to live just in the next building in our apartment comlex... :)
I checked the mail and when I got back, Bry was finishing translating an e-mail that I got from Sarah... Yeah, Bry is TONS better with Polish - English translation! :)
Then my friend Joni came and we went to Bryan's Park for a walk. I took Olivier Preston and she took Mason Wine. It was really cold, so when we got back I made hot chocolate for all of us! I hope we'll do it more often - the walk thing... :)
When she left it was time for a comedy night... :) It was good, especially The Office... :)
Traci stopped by for a little bit and we kind of planned our day tomorrow - looks like Bry and I go for a date without the baby named Olivier... :) TGI Friday's sounds really good... This 3 course menu... Yummy!!! :)
I didn't make it to the computer a second time yesterday, but that picture shows it all....
Yes, Ollie is my oficial kitchen helper...
He helped me make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread and later Chicken Cordon Bleu...
Go figure!!! :)
Now we know for sure that Olivier can write, listen and memorize a lot of information at one time and now even cook! :)
It's hard to imagine how we survived without him! :)

WORKING OUT

Today I decided it's time, so... I woke up after 5am and when Juliana came to pick me up at 6.45 I was all ready to go to the University Gym, in order to get in shape again...
I guess, I can't fool myself anymore or wait for that matter and have to take life in my hands, if it comes to losing baby weight...
I didn't make any progress since 2 weeks after the labor, so it's soooooo on!!! :)

After we were done, that's what happened. I played with Ollie just for a little bit, I fed him, took a shower, hanged out with Bry and... fell asleep... :)

He didn't give much time though... And soon after these were taken, he was ready to play!
But he's an extremely good baby today, which is amazing, so I'm back in blogging business - hopefully I'll be able to blog more often... :)

ME AND MY FRIENDS...

This is Olivier in his crib. I figured he should start getting aquainted with it plus he starts to be more and more interested in his toys.

Today, after my friend left, I decided to watch a movie with Olivier, so I brought some of his toys and put them on a cute safari blanket. I think he enjoyed it for the most part.
Also he starts to suck on his blanket, which might mean that he's getting to another stage in his life... :) How exciting! :)

Also Bry started his school today and I don't think he's that excited... He liked to spend time with me and Olivier and now it's just hard for him to go back to work at school! But it's not that bad, because he has classes only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and it's not for a long time, so that's good!!! :)

CANADIAN BACON POTATO SKINS

Yesterday I decided to try out a new recipe from The Taste of Home Cookbook that I got for Christmas and I must say, the food was amazing!!!
I liked it a lot and I'll definitely make it again... :)

But it was yesterday... Also I have to mention that Traci took me to the movie theater (we saw the new James Bond movie), so I could go somewhere without the baby... :)
And today, Bry and I had talks at church about eternal families and it went really well, I suppose... :) You can read them on Ollie's blog at www.olivierpreston.blogspot.com!
After the church we had Chicken Cacciatore and some one on one time with the baby...
Here's Ollie trying to fall asleep with no much luck...

PLACKI ZIEMNIACZANE

The other day I've decided to use my new juicer and make something good to eat... So, here I am making a polish dish... :)
By the way, the juicer works great!!! :)

WOW! IT WAS AN AMAZING DAY!!!
Yesterday wasn't my favorite day... It was one of those when we feel totally out of place, thinking that we are not good enough for anything... Not good enough mom, not good enough wife, not good enough to write my talk for Sunday, etc.
I just hate days like that!
But today started so well (and stayed that way), that I forgot about yesterday soooo fast! Like it never happened! :)
First, which is really amazing, I woke up around 6.30am and didn't feel like going to bed at all, so I played with Olivier, gave him food, read Book of Mormon, put some make - up on, took a shower, talk to my mom over internet and did it all while Bry was still in bed!!! :)

Then I was waiting patiently for my Pierre Cardin watch to arrive. I ordered it the other day over internet (my first internet purchase), since I had some Christmas money left and I really needed one!
Especially after what they did in one of the watch places in Texas with my old one - and it was a store, not kiosk!
(First, it took them 15min to change battery in my watch that I got as a present for our first wedding anniversary. Then they broke the glass by pressing too hard on it... Later it was just worse... They said that it would take them over a week to get it fixed, because they had to send it to another place, which happened to be in the same town! But they claimed it was going to be ready before we leave, since we were not from there and we were leaving before that or they would ship it to Bloomington over night.
Of course it didn't happen and when Bry called to find out why, they said that they couldn't ship it because their runner broke an ankle! Go figure!!! :) Finally, we got it back, but we just decided it's time to replace it anyways...)

After arrival of my gorgeous watch, Ollie and I went for a walk, so Bry could work a little in peace. We had a really good time, as usual! :)

When we came back my friend Julie called and that made my day, too, especially that I feel really lonely sometimes...

When I was talking to Julie, Carolyn and girls stopped by with some cookies!
The day was just getting better and better! :)

Then I ran and checked the mail and surprise, surprise, I found the letter form mom, dad, Lori and keving! It was really sweet! :)

Also Bry found out his grade from one of the finals and he got B+, which makes his ending of the semster excellent! He's a really smart guy and I'm soooo proud of him! :)

After that the 3 of us were just chillin', waiting for Traci and Tess to show up, so we could have some mexican dinner that Traci got for us! :) How sweet! :)

Now, after reading the scriptures, I'm really exhausted and ready to go to bed! :)

I love life! Especially after days like that! :)

That's what I saw the other day when I woke up!!!
They both look TOTALLY cute!!! :)
And my mom says, he looks just like me on this one...
(she has a picture of me with the same facial expression)
:)

OLLIE’S A REALLY BIG AND HEALTHY BOY!!!

Yesterday, after Bry, Ollie and I came back from Ollie’s 9 week check up
at the doctor, I compared him with myself at this age
andthis is what I found!
At 2 months
Olivier weights 13lbs 8oz (75%),
when I at this age weighed 11lbs 4oz…
Also he already beats me if it comes to my weight at 3 months,
where I was 12lbs 8oz…
He’s 25.5 inches long (95%),
when I, at the age of 5months, was 26 inches long!
It’s really interesting! :)
And here's the picture
of Ollie after the shots...
He was a little fussy, but not too bad...
So I'm really proud of him!!! :)

And that’s the changes in our living room area…
No more Christmas Tree,
No more Christmas Lights,
No more other Christmas Decorations,
But still, Bry made sure it looks really clean and nice!
As usual! :)

OLLIE'S NAMEDAY
Yesterday, as I was going through calendar pages, trying to make a plan
for this week, I realized that Bry and I haven't figured out
when Ollie's Nameday is...
So I did reseach it and found out tha we missed it!!!
He's Nameday was November 21st...
But this year we're going to celebrate!!!
And I won't forget!!! :)
That's a good thing, right? :)

Today we're planning to reorganize our apartment a little
(we - by that I mean Bry - kind of started yesterday),
so I'll post some pictures later - the finished and polished product... :)
Also today Traci and I want to see The Holiday (me again),
while Bry's babysitting! :)
Maybe I'll be able to squeeze in a little walk with Olivier before that
and after his 9 week doctor's check up!
Yea...
Today's the day!
He's not going to be a happy boy after all the shots, let me tell ya! :)

WE'RE BACK!!!
We're in Bloomington again... Same old same...
We made it safe and ok, without any bigger problems,
except for an hour delay, due to the weather conditions...
The first day after our arrival were mostly spent on unpacking
and catching up with Traci, who said that Olivier is not the same boy
she left on Christmas Day in Texas...
And that's very true!
He's almost 9 weeks now and has grown up so much!
Not that he was small at the first place, but you know what I mean... :)
Yesterday Traci babysat for us,
so Bry and I could go out and eat in the Longhorn Steakhouse,
where my salmon was better than ever!!!
Today was also a pretty evenful day...
We went and saw my friend Joni,
who just had a baby on New Years Eve (a month earlier)
and I must say, he's an adorable little boy
(he was only 6lbs 9oz and 19inch long)...
He's name is Mason Wine and they all are doing great!

Also Bry is putting our Christmas decorations away
and it's going to be really empty in our living room, after the season...
So now we're waiting (at least me) for
the Valentine's Day... :)

NEW YEARS DAY...
Bry and I went to... SAN ANTONIO for a little vacation!
We had an amazing time!
First thing we checked out was the mall, where we went to the movie theater and saw "The Pursuit of Happyness", since we missed all the IMAX showings...
Then we took a long walk on the Riverwalk, where
they still had some Christmas lights out,
so it was bright and really romantic! :)

Then we decided to go to the
Rainforest Cafe
for dinner and I must say that it was delicious!!!
The whole restaurant looked like rainforest
and every 10 minutes they had thunder and lightening shows
and moving animals!
That was really cool! :)

The next day we went to
the San Antonio ZOO,
since the Seaworld was closed for winter...
We had really good time and we managed to feed some birds...
At one point Bry had 3 birds walking all over him! :)
And I would have taken the picture, but our camera
battery died! Don't you love moments like that?

So we started 2007 pretty well... :)
